Toyz For Kidz Auction Tonight In Atmore

The LA Bikers will host a Toyz for Kidz Auction tonight at 6:00 in Atmore.
Items up for auction will include local handmade wooden items such as shelves, chairs, swings, gazebos, grill tables, hutches and more. BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs will be served.
The auction will take place at the PWC building at 106 East Avenue in Atmore. For more information, call (251) 747-7030.
All proceeds go to Toyz for Kidz, which provides Christmas gifts for needy children in Atmore, Flomaton and Walnut Hill/Bratt each Christmas.

Teens: Pizza And Walking Dead Books At The Molino Library

A “Pizza and Books” program will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Molino Branch Library.
Teens 13-17 are invited to join this book club designed to focus on their favorite reads. This month, participants will discuss the “Walking Dead” novels and play zombie-themed games. And the library will provide the free pizza.
The Molino Branch Library is located at 6450-A Highway 95A in the Molino Community Complex.

Extended Voter Registration Deadline Is Today
October 18, 2016
Florida’s extended voter registration deadline ends today at 5 p.m.
The office of Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David Stafford will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. to receive applications and assist eligible voters.
The registration deadline was last week, but a federal judge ordered an extension of the registration deadline across Florida because of Hurricane Matthew.

The Century Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Fall & Craft Festival & Car Show Saturday at Showalter Park.
The event will feature craft booths, family fun, food, a car show and entertainment featuring Grace Terry at 10 a.m., Ricky Crook and The Horseshoe Halo Band at noon and Michael Peterson at 2:30 p.m.
The festival begins at 9 am and goes on until 4 pm.
