Adam Alabata Sanborn

Adam Alabata Sanborn, 38 years old, of Milton, Florida, passed away peacefully and surrounded by many who loved him on May 3, 2024 after a three-year long battle with colon cancer.
Adam was born on May 25, 1985 in Oceanside, CA. He graduated with honors from Milton High School in 2003, where he was an active and proud member of the NJROTC. He attended UCF and UWF. Adam became a professional dance instructor and dance competitor winning national and international awards and ranking in the top 200 West Coast Swing Dance competitors in the world.
Adam is survived by his mother, Pearlas Alabata Sanborn; father, Brian Allan Sanborn; grandmother, Perla Ozoa Alabata; sister, Alexandra Alabata Ingram; fiancé, Emily Grace Bishop and numerous uncles, aunties and cousins.
Adam will be remembered by many for his tireless efforts in growing a vibrant dance community in NW Florida. Even while fighting the rigors of cancer, Adam’s exuberance for life was exemplified by his commitment to teaching, mentoring and encouraging many in the dance community.
Adam’s energy, easy smile and tremendous mind will be greatly missed by those of us who knew and loved him.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 6451 Park Avenue, Milton, Florida 32570 with visitation from 2:00-3:00pm, Rosary at 3:00pm and the Funeral Mass at 3:30pm.
The family would like to thank all of those who lovingly cared for Adam during the past three years including, Dr Jamal Joudeh and the oncology staff at The Woodlands, Dr Van Brandon Foles and medical staff at Santa Rosa Medical Center, Dr Frank Watson and the staff at FIT Chiropractic, Norma Winborne, RN and the 7th floor medical staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, and Dr Peter Edward Millington and staff at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Thank you also to the many family members and friends who supported Adam and our family with prayers and more over the past three years. We appreciate all of you!!

Glen David Isler, 85, of Robertsdale, Alabama, passed away on May 9, 2024 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born in Atmore, Alabama to Agnes Irene Presley and Noah Patrick Isler. He was married to Judith Campbell Isler for over 58 years. He worked in different grocery stores in the area in management. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church since 1973 and had a passion for farming, and growing produce.
He is survived by his spouse, Judith Campbell Isler; sons, Kevin (Cheryl) Isler, David Isler, and Mike Isler; three grandchildren, Austin Isler, Noah Isler and Joshua Isler; brother, Bert (Harlene) Isler; sister, Ann Hammock and sister, Carolyn (Bucky) Webb.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in Clear Springs Cemetery, Robertsdale, Alabama.

Linda Willis, 77, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away May 16, 2024. She was born in Pensacola, Florida on November 19, 1946 to Johnnie & Tiny Faqua. She was married to Frank Willis for 52 years. Linda had a career in Administration for numerous car dealerships. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and had a passion for yard work, cooking and baking.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Giny (Tiny) Faqua; spouse, Frank Willis; son, Jeff Willis; brothers, Wayne Faqua and Ferrel Faqua.
She is survived by her sister, Debbie Turner; grandson, Lane (Lindsey) Willis, granddaughter, Taylor Willis; great grandchildren, Fynlee, Cash, Brody, and Austin; aunt, Lois Scherer; cousins, Greg Scherer, Tim Scherer, Roy Scherer, and Terry Dorman; sister-in-law, Connie Roper; friend, Linda Glass.
Pallbearers are Lane Willis, Brent Cravey, Dudley Herrington, Robert Mitchell, Tex Sinon, and Brent Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 S. Highway 29, Cantonment, Florida 32533. Visitation will be prior to service from 10:30am to 11:30am. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Michael Darwin Walters

Michael Darwin Walters, age 68, of Atmore, AL passed away on May 13, 2024 in Mobile, AL. He was born on October 25, 1955 in Atmore, AL to Darwin Weber Walters and Lola Phillips Walters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and Alabama football. Michael was an avid motorcyclist and absolutely loved his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister Linda Hayes of Pensacola, FL; his niece and nephew, Tonya (Robert) Hurst and Scott (Tracy) Hayes, and his great nieces and nephews, Brittany Hurst, Heather Hurst, Dakota Hayes, Seth Hayes and Dylan Hayes.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, AL.

John Daniel Otnes, 80, of McDavid, Florida, passed away May 3, 2024. He was born in Junction City, Kansas on December 20, 1943 to John Otnes and Pauline Stevens. He was married to Barbara Jean Drulia Otnes for 25 years. John was a retired United States Navy Mechanic, and did civil service work on base after being discharged. He was a member of Victory Assembly of God, and had a passion for the Church and ham radio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife, Barbara Otnes and two sons, James B. Walker, Jr. and Jason D. Walker.

Mrs. Duffie Newton Wells, age 94, passed away peacefully May 14, 2024 in Century, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Byrneville, Florida and life long resident of Century, Florida. She was also a faithful member of Bethel Temple Holiness Church.
Mrs. Wells was passionate about cooking, sewing, arts and crafts. She greatly enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, and gospel music. She was always looking for a good recipe to try out. She loved spending time with her family and friends she always welcomed company and people stopping by to visit.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Benjamin and Mittie Mae Armstrong Newton; husband of 55 years John T. Wells; brother, John Ira Newton; sister, Louise Dockens; grandson, Trevor Benjamin Wells; son-in-law, Don Grant; great-granddaughter, Kinsey Williamson
Mrs. Wells is survived by her son, Claude Benjamin “Ben” (Patsy) Wells of Destrehan, Louisiana; three daughters, Linda (Joe) Lister of Flomaton, Alabama, Brenda Sue Hauer of Brandon, Mississippi, and Faye Grant of McDavid, Florida; sister Martha Sims of Century, Florida; 2 sisters-in-law, Stella Knowles and Emma Lee Newton; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Roy Clinton Lowery, age 74, passed away, Thursday, May 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Monroeville, Alabama and lived most of his life in Canoe, Alabama and Bratt, Florida.
Mr. Lowery greatly enjoyed fishing, hunting and shopping. He loved the time he got to spend with his family, especially going to the mountains. Family cookouts, frying fish was also something he loved to do. He was an avid Alabama Football fan. He retired from the Oil Field Industry with 35 years of service.
Preceded in death by his parents Ralph Clifford and Christine Nall Lowery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ann Lowery of Bratt, Florida; son, Craig Lowery of Bratt, Florida; two brothers, Ray (Freida) Lowery of Canoe, Alabama, Ray (Rita) Reeves of Silverhill, Alabama; sister, Hazel (Ed) Johnson of Demopolis, Alabama; six grandchildren, Colton, Addi, Maddi, Avrey, Leigha and Landyn; special friends Frank and Beth Mosley.

Amanda Rhea Johnson

Amanda Rhea Johnson of Pensacola Florida, passed away on April 27, 2024. She was born October 2, 1966 to Rebecca Ann Kilpatrick and William Ronald Johnson (both deceased). Rhea, as she was known to family and friends, was an energetic ball of light that left us far too soon. Her passions were many and she excelled at everything she did. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and she did this as often as possible. Rhea also loved her flowers and was an artist when it came to floral design. Tragically, Rhea was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Samantha Ryan Ward. This took a heavy toll on Rhea, but she coped by spending as much time as she could with the remaining family which included Samantha’s son, Caleb Price. She is survived her daughter, Kasi Ward (Robert Fuston) and her 4 children Bentley, Bostyn, Bradley, and Brayden Fuston. She is also survived by her grandson, Caleb Price; her brother, Christopher Johnson; her sister, Kimberly Johnson; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10:00am at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 S. Highway 29, Cantonment, Florida 32533.
