Mrs. Minnie Elberta Kelly, 77, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015, in Bay Minette.
Mrs. Kelly was a native of McDavid, former longtime resident of Christian Home, FL and a resident of Bay Minette since 1973. Mrs. Kelly was the former owner of Gene’s Taxi & Locksmith in Bay Minette. She was a member of the Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church.
Her husband, Gene Kelly; and brother, Ray Holland, precede her in death.
Survivors include her two sons, David (Kim) Kelly of Bay Minette and James Kelly of Wyoming; one daughter, Carla Herring (Timmie Thomley) of Bay Minette; two brothers, Bill (Hazel) Holland of Pensacola and Roger (Gloria) Holland of Christian Home; two sisters, Gale Smith of Pensacola and Edna (Don) Cerny of Dallas, TX; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 7, 2015, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Sis. Helen Stewart officiating.
Burial was at the Christian Home Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Kelly, Justin Kelly, Aaron Milligan, Preston Ferrell, Anthony Morris, Patrick Hadley and Dustin DeVan.

Euni Belle Ball

Euni Ball, 76, was called home from this life on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Euni was married for 57 years to her loving husband, Gene Ball. Together, they are sealed for time and all eternity. Euni loved cooking, sewing, gardening, and spoiling everyone around her. Euni was a military wife for 24 years. She was an extremely strong woman and a loving mother. She had quite a sense of humor and knew how to make life, fun. Together Gene and Euni raised five children.
She is preceded in death by son, Johnny Lynn Ball.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Ball; and children, Cindy Joyner (Jack Joyner), Sandy Phillips (John Phillips III), Keith Ball (Shannon Ball), Kevin Ball. She has nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Foxrun Drive.

Lillian D. Bryars, 86, of Pensacola, passed away June 3, 2015. She was a title searcher for Lawyers Title Co. She was also a strong supporter of our military and veterans. She enjoyed lunches and shopping with her girlfriends. Her greatest love was her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, John P. and Bertha Mae Sandiford; and her husband, Clarance L Bryars, Jr.
She is survived by her brothers, John (Barbara) Sandiford of Olive Branch, MS and Kenneth (Mona) Sandiford of Atlanta, GA; sister, Molly (Bob) Rich of DeLand, FL; sons, Robert Scott Bryars of Gautier, MS and Kenneth (Linda) Bryars of Pensacola; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, June 8, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Dr. Dale Patterson will officiate and interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Gibbs, John Bryars, Christian Leeper, Mike Green, Rick Roberson and John Kimbrell.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Sandiford and Burt Kimbrell.

Harold Monroe “Pete” Foster

Harold Monroe “Pete” Foster, 67, of Cantonment, took his last breath and woke up in Heaven to forever be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. He was born in Bay Minette, AL on October 9, 1947, to Rodie and Louise Foster. Pete graduated from JM Tate High School in June of 1966 and was then drafted into the U. S. Army in October of 1966. He served in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Vietnam. Pete received the National Defense Service medal, the Vietnam Service medal with two Bronze Stars, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Pete married Linda Mauldin on March 31, 1967, and moved to Cantonment where they lived for 47 years. He was employed at NAS Pensacola as a carpenter until he had to medically retire after 25 years of service due to his diagnosis of terminal cancer in 2005.
Pete gave his life to the Lord at the age of 19. He loved the Lord and served him for the remainder of his life. Pete was a member of Victory Assembly of God Church and served as a Deacon for many years. He used his carpentry talent to assist in the construction of the church building. Pete was an avid bass fisherman. He loved to fish, camp, collect antique fishing lures, and travel. He also loved his antique cars which included his ‘59 Chevy pickup truck and his Model A car. Pete was a wonderful husband and father and was dearly cherished and loved by his wife and two daughters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rodie Alonzo Foster; and his baby brother, Rodie Alonzo Foster, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Elease Mauldin Foster of Cantonment; daughters, Stephanie (Kevin) Chase of Gulf Breeze and Robin Stephens of Milton; five grandchildren, Kristopher Chase, Anthony Bennett, Zakary Bennett, Mary Crutchfield, and Seth Chase; one great-grandson, Kolton Chase; mother, Louise Carnley; brother, David (Linda) Foster; sisters, Barbara Sue (Stanley) Carnley and Jessie Mae (Ronnie) Gilbert; two stepbrothers, Adon (Sharon) Carnley and Wayne Carnley; one stepsister, Faye (Fred) Johnson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Regency Hospice for their wonderful support and care as well as the many family and friends that have prayed, visited, and brought food.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Victory Assembly of God with Pastor Jeff McKee, officiating.
Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Baggett, David Cantrell, John Daugherty, Tommy McCrory, Lewis Arnette, Sonny Hicks, Billy Hall, and Jerry Eddins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Adon Carnley, Fred Johnson and Paul Pettis.

Vicki Lynn Jordan, 57 of Atmore, passed away June 3, 2015, in Atmore. She was born on May 29, 1958, in Atmore. She was the owner of Graphix Screen Printing. She is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Patsy Patch of Atmore; two sons, Scotty (Kristie) Jordan of McDavid and Casey (Jennifer) Jordan of Atmore; and four grandchildren, Ridge Jordan, Cole Jordan, Kristina Respress and Kaitlyn Respress; brothers and sisters, Leslie Gulsby, David Gulsby, Ricky Lofton, Rhonda Lofton and Randy Lofton; and one grand-dog-ter Karma.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2015, at 2 p.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Cary Sylvester Hanks, Sr., 81, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015, in Pensacola.
Mr. Hanks was a native and lifelong resident of Bratt, other than his years of serving in the military. Mr. Hanks was retired E7 U.S. Army with 20 years of service, worked with Intercostal Pipeline with 15 years of service and worked at Century Correction Center. He was a member of the Bratt First Baptist Church.
His wife, Juliaette Wearren Hanks, precedes him in death.
He is survived by his two sons, Cary S. (Anne) Hanks, Jr. of Maylene, AL and Steven L. (Theresa) Hanks of Bratt; one daughter, Susan (Rick) Amerson of Bratt; one brother, Howard (Myrle) Hanks of Bratt; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 3 p.m. at the Bratt First Baptist Church with Rev. Delbert Redditt and Rev. Jesse Wood officiating.
Burial will follow at the Godwin Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, from 2 p.m. until service time at the Bratt First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jeremy Hanks, David Amerson, Chris Amerson, Brett Hanks, Davy Hanks and Ricky Fretwell.

Audrey Marie Sims, 52, of Century, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, in Flomaton. She was born on November 5, 1962, in Milton. She was a seamstress with Lajenes Fabrics. She is preceded in death by her stepfather Rev. James Bruce Richardson.
She is survived by her mother, Rosie Richardson of Flomaton; her father and stepmother, Aubrey (Darlene) Summerlin of Mobile; one son, Tommy (Lawanda) Macks; and one daughter, Marlena Macks all of Flomaton; two sisters, Teresa Summerlin and Lisa Tackett both of Mobile; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Flomaton with Rev. Kathleen McKinley and Bro. Alvin Brantley officiating.
Burial will follow in Red Oak Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015, from 6 – 8 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Flomaton.

Sherry Louise Chase Cato

Sherry Louise Chase Cato, age 69 of Jay, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Cato was a native of Oswego, New York and had resided in this area for 38 years where she was employed as a bartender and a cashier. She was previously a Registered Nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Cato; and two sisters, Glenda Comins and Maxine Schack.
She is survived by her sons, John (Tina) Bowman, Herbert Bowman, Douglas (Penny) Bowman, and Patrick (Melissa) Fagnan; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Dora McEarhern, Sheila (Charles) Sweeney, and Martha and Tom (Krolikowski) Stephens.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Patrick Fagnan or a charity of your choice in honor of Sherry Louise Cato.

Mr. Jesse Taylor, III age 64 of Atmore, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Taylor was born in Brewton and was a life time resident of Escambia County. He worked as a finance manager at Johnson Ford in Atmore, and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Taylor, Jr. and Charlotte Ann Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wanda Sue Taylor of Trenton, GA; a son, Jesse (Crystal) Taylor, IV of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Sara (Rodney) Devers of Castleberry, AL; a brother, William Bartlett Taylor of Brewton; a sister, Anna (Michael) Barlow of Cumming, GA; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home in Brewton with Rev. Clyde Madden officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Sylvia Jackson Graves, age 53 of Brewton, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at her home.
Mrs. Graves was a native of Brewton and a resident of the Brewton community since 1979 coming from Jay. During her working years she worked in the convenience store industry and was of the Assembly of God faith. She is preceded in death by her father, Calvin Jackson.
Mrs. Graves is survived by her mother, Eloise Muse of Bratt; daughter, Tamika Graves of Brewton; brothers, Ken Jackson of Bay Minette and Randy Jackson of Gulf Breeze; granddaughters, Kalee Delane Burkett and Tatum Shyanne Crumpton.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at the Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pat Carden officiating.
Interment was in Beulah Cemetery in Brewton.
Pallbearers were Randy Jackson, Ken Jackson, Danny Evans and Bo Burkett.
