Sharon Arnold, 56 of Bayou Vista, Louisiana, formerly of Munson, passed away peacefully at her home on October 14, 2015, surrounded with family and friends.
She was born October 8, 1959, in Munson to Alfred and Annette Butler. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, nana, and friend. She is preceded in death by her father, Alfred Butler and her beloved husband, Eddie Arnold Sr.
She is survived by her loving mother, Annette Butler; sisters, Sheila (Bo) Watts; Susan Butler; and brothers, Larry (Gloria) Butler and Steve (Robin) Butler; her loving children, Lisa (James) Griffin; Starleigh (Timothy) Maulden; and Shawn Arnold (Michelle Rose); and her loving fiancée, Teddy Norwood Sr; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sharon’s Celebration of Life memorial service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Springhill Baptist Church at 1 p.m.
Sharon wanted to go home with a Celebration of her Life, so we are requesting that if you have a picture of you and Sharon to please bring a copy and place on our memory board to share your most precious memories of her!

Willard Theodore Creamer

Mr. Willard Theodore Creamer, age 74 of Byrneville, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at his home.
Mr. Creamer was a native and lifelong member of the Byrneville community where during his working years, he worked for the Escambia County Sheriffs Department as a guard. He was a member of Poplar Dell Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Gladys Margaret Creamer; and stepson, Raymond O. Mills, Jr.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Creamer of Mortan’s Gap, KY; daughters, Cindy (Larry) Stuckey of Byrneville, Lindy Hawsey of Atmore, and Mary Ann Mills of Atmore; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mitch Herring officiating.
Interment will follow in Poplar Dell Cemetery in Byrneville.
Pallbearers will be Will Stuckey, Cody Nall, Richard Nall, Colby Graham, A.J. Graham, and Stephen Hawsey.

Lillie Mae Gay, age 84, of Jay’s Dixonville community passed away October 30, 2015. She was born January 2, 1931, in Dozier, Alabama to Eurie and Allie Berry. She was a member of Whitefield Assembly of God Church and a loving mother,grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleve”Bud” Gay; brothers, James Berry, Junior Berry, Jimmy Berry and two infant brothers; sisters, Doris Cook, Sybil Dorough,and Ellafier Springer and daughter-in-law, Sandra Pritt.
She is survived by sons, Cleve E. and Pamela Gay, William Gay, and Steve M. and Frances Gay; daughter, Teresa and Judson Carden; grandchildren, Lynette Davis, Stacey Carter, Michael D. Gay, Cheyanne Gay, Christopher Moon and Sonya Moon; great-grandchildren, Charles Lavern, Ashtain Davis, Mahgell Davis, Mia Davis, Wesley Carter, Johnathan Carter, Meagan Carter, Alexis Moon, Christopher Moon, Jr., Brock Elliot, Brandon Elliot, Brylon Elliot, and Steve Gay; brother, Jesse Berry; sisters, Peggy Lewandowski and Glenda and Judd Granger.
Funeral services will be a held Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Whitefield Assembly of God Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ruby King Lewis, 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, in Pensacola.
Mrs. Lewis was a native of Molino, former resident of Bay Minette and resided in Bay Springs, FL, most of her life. Mrs. Lewis attended the Horse Neck Community Holiness Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Lewis, Sr., one son, Rodger Dale Lewis, one infant daughter, one infant son, three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by onesSon, Frankie Lee (Ann) Lewis, Jr. of Molino; two daughters, Elizabeth Lewis (Ronnie) Faulk of Walnut Hill and Sara N. (Eddie) Figureid of Pensacola; one brother, Paul David King of Pensacola; three sisters, Mary Blair of Century, Rosa Mobley of Ensley, and Sara Jane Stewart of Cantonment; 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Bay Springs Full Gospel Church with Rev. Brandon Stophel officiating.
Burial will follow at the Bay Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Kathleen B. Becker, 93 of Cantonment, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015. She was born on May 11, 1922, in Appleton, AL to the late Edgar and Lily Craigmile. Kathleen retired from Monsanto with over 25 years of service. She was a loving mother, housewife, sister, and avid gardener. She was involved in her local community helping in churches, and education with Public Broadcasting Station (PBS).
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph E. Bracken and Claus Becker; and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Ty (Glenda) Bracken, Ralphene Bracken Eshleman, Beverly Bracken (Terry) Williams, and Roy L. Bracken; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Dees officiating.
Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery in Brewton.

Mrs. Lettie Jane Ray Childress, 79, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in Pensacola.
Mrs. Childress was a native of Canoe and a resident of Robinsonville since 1980. Mrs. Childress was a member of the Canoe Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Johnny Robert Childress; beloved son, Robert Allen Childress; three grandchildren; parents, Otis and Jessie Ray; and four brothers, Sam Ray, Milton Ray, Johnny Frank Ray and Arthur Lee Ray.
Survivors include her daughter, Sondra Childress of Robinsonville; daughter-in-law, Dawn Childress Northrop of Andalusia; special caregiver, like a daughter, Diana (Jonathan) Conway of Robinsonville; two brothers, Willis Matthew (Voncille) Ray of Canoe and Marvin Ray of Atmore; one sister, Mary Gene Conway of Atmore; one grandchild, Beth Childress of Andalusia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jerry Wayne Dorriety, 63, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in Lottie, Alabama.
Mr. Dorriety was a native of Huxford and a resident of Lottie for the past 26 years. Mr. Dorriety attended the Fretwell Tabernacle Holiness Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Maggie Dorriety.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Ora Jane Dorriety of Lottie; two sons, James “Jim” Dorriety, Sr. of Atmore and Robbie (Nickie) Turberville of Lottie; three daughters, Ashleigh Dorriety Etheridge of Atmore, Andrea (Jeremy) Ratz New of Bay Minette and Julie Turberville of Monroeville; three brothers, Curtis Lavone Dorriety of Tillman’s Corner, AL, Charles A. Mrs. Doris Emmons Brown, of McDavid, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.
Doris was born in Byrneville to Joe and Olean Emmons on March 9, 1941. She married Winston on January 4, 1958, in Byrneville and they resided in McDavid. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tammy; and two grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her husband of 57 years, Winston Brown of McDavid; sons, Tony (Angie) Brown of Pace, Steve (Tami) Brown of Jay, and Mike (Lori) Brown of Flomaton; brothers, Joey (Sandra) Emmons of Salsbury, NC, Wayne (Linda) Emmons of Pensacola; sisters, Betty (Troy) Brown of McDavid and Pat Harrison of Jay; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 26, 2015, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Ed Brown and Rev. Robby McCann officiating.

Mrs. Barbara Howell Dickerson, 83, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in Mobile.
Mrs. Dickerson was a native of Brewton and a resident of Atmore for the past 58 years. Mrs. Dickerson was retired FHA with 30 years with Escambia County Florida. She was an avid Auburn fan and Atlanta Braves fan. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore. She is preceded in death by her parents, W.C. “Red” and Lucille Howell and brother, W.C. “Billy” Howell, Jr.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Ted Malone of Atmore; two grandchildren, Molly Malone (Jonathan “Red”) Cowles of Atlanta, GA and Ryan (Joy) Malone of Atmore; one great-grandchild, Camden Cowles; one nephew, Donald Howell of Mountain Brook, AL; one niece, Jennifer Howell Gibney of Mobile and special family member, Joan Malone of Bay Minette.

Mary Alice Jernigan Darby

Mary Alice Jernigan Darby, age 80 of Pensacola, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 26, 2015. Mary was born in Brewton on May 22, 1935, to the late Mason and Rhogene Jernigan. She graduated from W. S. Neal High School in 1953, where she met J.C. Darby and they became high school sweethearts. They were married for 58 years before his passing in 2011. She was a faithful member of Community of Christ Church and an avid fishing and camping enthusiast. Most of all she will be remembered for her devotion to her family.
She is survived by her son, Robert M. (Debbie) Darby of Hinesville, GA; daughter, Robin Darby (Greg) Kimmel of Ft. Walton Beach; grandchildren, Melissa Darby (Richard) Houston of Nashville, Jason Darby of Hinesville, GA, Kristyn Kimmel of Freeport, FL, and Darbi Kimmel (Christopher) Evett of Ft. Walton Beach; great-granddaughter, Harper Houston; three sisters, Aline (Nelson) Wasserman, Joan (Jack) White and Evelyn (Wayne) Fuqua.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Jim Sherrard and Pastor Les Kelley officiating.
