Vernell K. Tims, 87 of Oak Grove, FL. passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Atmore, AL.
She was a Homemaker, born in Holland Town, FL. on December 09, 1929 to the late John P. and Carlie Garrett Kimbro.
She is preceded in death by Her Parents, Brothers, Earl Kimbro, Howard Kimbro, Nathan Kimbro and Walter Kimbro. A Sister, Elma Ezel.
Survivors are: Her Husband, Byron D. Tims of Oak Grove, FL. Two Sons: Dale Tims of Virginia Beach, VA. Clark (Debra Roley) Tims of Robertsdale, AL. One Daughter: Michelle Helton of Walnut Hill, FL. One brother: Enzor (Edna Earl) Kimbro of Pensacola, Fl Seven Grandchildren and Nine Great-Grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be Saturday September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Butch Brown officiating.

Mrs. Barbara Holley Dunsford, 71, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Pensacola, Florida.
Mrs. Dunsford was a native of Defuniak Springs, FL and has resided in Bluff Springs, FL for the past 52 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend to everyone and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was retired from the Bratt Elementary School with over 30 years of service and was a member of the Faith Bible Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Ethel Holley and a sister, Brenda Strength.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Clifton Dunsford of Bluff Springs, FL; one son, Chris (Sherry) Dunsford of Bluff Springs, FL; one daughter, Becky (Jamie) Cobb of Bluff Springs, FL; two brothers, Ricky (Sherry) Holley of Luverne, AL and Gary (Becky) Holley of Jay, FL; four sisters, Kathy Johnston of Century, FL, Faye (Donald) Godwin of McDavid, FL, Tami (Freddie) Calloway of Byrneville, FL and Carolyn Hendrieth of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren, Marc Dunsford, Mitch Dunsford, Kolbi Cobb and Kendal Payne and five great grandchildren, Cole Dunsford, Brayden Smith, Waylon Dunsford, Gabe Dunsford and Wesley Dunsford.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Stokes, Rev. Ricky Du
nsford and Rev. Robert Barrow officiating.
Burial will follow at the Pineview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mary Virginia Lewis

Mary Virginia Lewis of Berrydale, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on August 16, 2017. She was 86 years old. Mary was born in Hornell, New York to Joseph and Lygia Bolley and was raised in Hornell, New York and Phoenix, Arizona. She was a teacher for over 40 years and touched the lives of hundreds of students. She was married to the love of her life, the late Lamar C. Lewis. Together they raised five children, first in El Cajon, California and then later Berrydale, Florida. Mary was devoted to the Catholic faith and a dedicated member of St. Maurice Catholic Church in Brewton, Alabama.
Mary Lewis is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lygia Bolley and loving husband, Lamar “Louie”. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Barbara Davinson, brother John (Janice) Bolley, children Barbara (Steve) Scott, Bill (Debbi) Lewis, Beth Anne (Madison) Whitfield, Becky Miller, Amy (Tommy) Kindig. Also surviving are her brother in law Larry (Andrea) Lewis, sisters in law Edna Lewis, Marilyn Lewis, and Imogene Reeder, her treasured grandchildren, great grandchildren and devoted Golden Retriever “Sophie”.
The family would like to also express their love and appreciation to Mom’s loving caretakers: Lora Lambeth, Beverly Blair, Jenny Floyd and Peggy Dunn. Additionally the family acknowledges the compassionate care of Chasity Lowery (Covenant Hospice) and the spiritual love of Father Patrick Madden (St. Maurice Catholic Church) for his unselfish ministry to both of our parents at the end of their wonderful lives.
On Saturday September 30, 2017, there will be a visitation with family at St. Maurice Catholic Church, 202 East Jackson Street, Brewton, Alabama starting at 10 am with a celebration of Mass beginning at 11 am.

Devere Knowles Moye

Mrs. Devere Knowles Moye, 85, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017, in Jay, Florida.
Mrs. Moye was a native and lifelong resident of Flomaton, AL. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law. She retired from the Escambia County Board of Education as a bus driver with 34 years of service. She attended the Lambeth Holiness Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Leroy Moye, parents and all of her siblings.
She is survived by her three sons, James Earl (Darlene) Moye of Flomaton, AL, Curtis (Charlotte) Moye of Flomaton, AL and Robert (Anita) Moye of Flomaton, AL; two daughters, Linda Sue (David) Raines of Atmore, AL and Glenda Moye of Flomaton, AL; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Clara Stokes of Flomaton, AL.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Pope and Rev. Andy Boutwell officiating.
Burial was at the Traveler’s Rest Cemetery.
Pallbearers were C. Robert Moye, Nicholas Moye, Will Schneeflock, Wes Erickson, Randy Jackson and Jeremy Pridgen.
Honorary pallbearers were be Ronald Moye and David Gertson.

William Arley Bryan

Mr. William Arley “W.A.” Bryan, 92, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017, in Pensacola, Florida.
Mr. Bryan was a native and lifelong resident of Poplar Dell, Florida. He was a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Army. He retired from St. Regis Paper Company with 40 years of service and was a member of the Poplar Dell Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Margaret Mayo Bryan and a son, Fred R. Bryan.
He is survived by one son, Bill (Jeri) Bryan of Cabot, AR; one daughter, Ann Bryan (Bill) Baker of Sarasota, FL; one brother, Kenneth Bryan of Molino, FL; two sisters, Jeanette Hurst of Pensacola, FL and Juanita Hubacher of Lillian, AL; two grandchildren, Greg Bryan of Cabot, AR and Meredith Baker of Cape Carol, FL; and three great-grandchildren, Chris Bryan, Caitlin Bryan and Hadan Baker.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Poplar Dell Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Herring officiating.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 10 a.m. until service time at the Poplar Dell Baptist Church.

George Allen Phillips, 64, of Cantonment, FL, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 15, 2017. He worked as a brakeman for the Railroad, enjoyed late model cars and listening to old rock and roll music. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Doris Phillips; sister, Elaine Phillips Southwick; and his nephew Ralph (Duck) Childers.
He is survived by his son, Kallen Phillips (April); granddaughters, Haeden and Emily Phillips; brothers, Dan and Paul Phillips; sisters, Vicki Hensley and Grace Phillips; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North beginning at 12 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m.
Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Mrs. Jean Marie Jackson, 68, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017, in Montrose, Alabama.
Mrs. Jackson was a native of New York, NY and had resided in Perdido, AL for the past 27 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Bonalyn Barney and Vance Turner, Sr.
She is survived by her four sons, Timothy Jackson of Loxley, AL, Jason Jackson of Perdido, AL, Louie Jackson of Middle Town, OH and Vance Turner, Jr. of Perdido, AL; one daughter, Lori Jackson Stroud of Lake Charles, LA and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 12 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sis. Wanda Hadley officiating.

Mr. Rolin was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore, Alabama. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Rolin of Atmore, AL; four sons, Michael (Brandy) Rolin of Bay Minette, AL, Chris (Melanie) Rolin of Poarch, AL, Alex (Sissy) Rolin of Huxford, AL and Alan Rolin of Atmore, AL; two daughters, Janie (Tony) Rolin of Atmore, AL and Elizabeth Rolin of Atmore, AL; four brothers, Clarence (Diane) Rolin of Canoe, AL, Raymond Rolin of Atmore, AL, Rayford Rolin of Poarch, AL and David (Dorothy) Rolin of Walnut Hill, FL; three sisters, Mabel (Sherrel) Lambert of Atmore, AL, Debra Rolin of Poarch, AL and Joyce Kuhn of Poarch, AL; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Rolin officiating.
Burial was at the New Home Cemetery.

Grady Lee Huggins, 78 of Jay, FL passed away Monday September 11, 2017, in Pensacola, FL. He was a tire installer employed by Brantley Tires, born in Pensacola on February 2, 1939, to the late Elijah and Ruby Huggins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Emma Huggins, grandson Sonny Blackmon and son-in-law Marvin Mason, Jr.
He is survived by two sons George Blackmon and Allen Blackmon; four daughters: Glenda Mason, Cathy Blackmon, Diane Blackmon and Mona (Richard) Schoenbaum, sister: Frances Noel, 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, September 15, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. from Serenity Gardens. Internment will follow in Serenity Gardens.
Active pallbearers are Dennis Jerrel, Rusty Slate, Joseph Clark, Newman Clark, Bryan Mason and Donnie Ray Blackmon.

Mr. Ramon “Ray” Rydzowski, 86, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017, in Pensacola, Florida.
Mr. Rydzowski was a native of Auburn, NY, former resident of Century, FL (from 1953 to 1994), and had resided in Flomaton, AL since 1994. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, strong and hardworking (33 years at Jefferson Smurfit-Container Corp.), was able to do anything, except farm, he instilled the same work ethic in his sons, “Hard work Self-Reliance”. He was a long time Stock Car (Nascar) fan, carried mom to car race day after marriage and Paul and I to Five Flags and Talladega, loved times with his friends, James Powell, Herbert McCurdy and Fred Salter and always helped a stranger. He loved to travel, college baseball, boating, beach, camping and playing cards. He loved the holidays, Christmas and Halloween (the most, he would dress up on Halloween) and Thanksgiving, he enjoyed good food and family. He was a member of the Flomaton United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Rydzowski, three brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gloria Rydzowski of Flomaton, AL; three sons, Steve R. (Donna Carol) Rydzowski of McDavid, FL, Paul F. (Karen) Rydzowski of Wing, AL and Robert C. (Ann T.) Rydzowski of Flomaton, AL; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at the Flomaton United Methodist Church with Rev. Cathy McKinley and Rev. Dr. Pete Dunn officiating.
Burial was at the Flomaton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Lee, Eric Rydzowski, Ben Murrell, Steven “Little Man” Rydzowski, Dewayne Higdon and Willie Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Maddox, Larry Jones and Joe Brantley.
