Johanna K. Samples, age 79, of Cantonment, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Mrs. Samples was born June 8, 1931 in Stuttgart, Germany. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Charles K. Samples, her children, Karen Knight and Steven Samples, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:45 AM on Monday, September 20, 2010, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.

Elsie Hardee Nall

Elsie Hardee Nall, 90, of Atmore died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, in Atmore.
She was a homemaker, born in Escambia County, Ala. on April 21, 1920, to the late Rufus Z. and Pauline Purvis Hardee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore, a senior choir member, a member of the Escambia County Home Demonstration Club and a member of the Joy Riders.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo W. Nall, and infant twins, Earl and Earline Nall.
Survivors include four sons, Webb Nall and wife, Frances, of Atmore, Joe Nall and wife, Dianne, of Bay Minnette, Bob Nall and wife, Jan, of Edmond, Okla. and Merrill Nall and wife, Becky, of Muscle Shoals; two Daughters, Elsie Butler and husband, Walter, of McDavid, Fla. and Polly Watkins and husband, Doug, of Montgomery; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 3 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kelly Brown and the Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Richard Nall, Keith Nall, Joey Nall, David Nall, Eric Stuart and Robert Nall. Honorary pallbearer is Justin Hurst.
Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Restoration and Renewal Fund.

Minnie Mae Hare, 93, of Atmore, died Sunday September 12, 2010, at her residence. She was a homemaker, born on January 23, 1917, to the late Ephrom Berry and Louella Brewer Long at Grove Hill, Ala.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben O. Hare and three sons, two unnamed and one named James Otis Hare.
Survivors include one son, Gary B. Hare and wife Sandra of Atmore; one daughter, Wanda H. McSwain and husband Richard of Cantonment; five grandchildren, Lisa Wheatley (Brian), Vicki Dettling (Seth), Rachel McSwain, John McSwain and Daniel McSwain; four great-grandchildren Hunter and Samuel Dettling, Brooke and Luke Wheatley.
Services will be held Wednesday September 15, 2010, at 11 a.m. from the Brooks Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are James Helton, Jack Sharpless, Cereal Daniel, Hugh Long, Aubrey Till and Hubert Brown. Family will receive friends Wednesday September 15, 2010, at Brooks Memorial Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until service time.

Johnny A. Dannelley, 79, of McCullough, Ala., died Sunday, September 12, 2010, at his residence.
He was born on May 28, 1931, in McCullough to the late John Henry and Minnie Sanders Dannelley. He was a veteran of Korean War. He employed by Escambia County (Ala.).
Survivors include his wife, Irma Dannelley of McCullough; two daughters, Marilyn L. Singleton and husband, Stanley Edward, of Atmore and Reginia Barron and husband, Wayne, of Pensacola.; two brothers, James Dannelley of Atmore and Vernell Dannelley of Pensacola; two grandchildren: Steve Luker Jr. and wife, Dawn, of Bratt and Amber Harrison and husband, Glendon, of Atmore; and two great-grandchildren, Alanna and Jacob.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, from Johnson- Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the McCullough Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Dennis William Mock

Dennis William Mock, 61 of Atmore, died Monday September 13, 2010, in Pensacola. He was born in Arlington,Va. on February 21, 1949, to the late Jim and Mary Davis Mock. He was employed by a tree service.
He was an U.S. Army Vet serving during the Vietnam War, and a member of the FirstAssembly of God Church of Atmore.
Survivors are his wife Sheila Hunt Mock of Atmore; two sons David Alan Mock and wife, Sheea of Bay Minette, Ala., Richard Domick Mock and wife, Brenda of Atmore; one daughter Tracy Baker and husband, Scott of Oak Grove; two brothers Michael Mock of Maryland and Rick Mock of Texas; one stepchild Rachel Cook of Ocala; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Friday September 17, 2010 at 2PM from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lame Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Barron Cemetery, with full military honors.
Family will receive friends Thursday evening, September 16, 2010, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Hadley, 57, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010, in Atmore.
Mrs. Hadley was a native and former resident of Houston, TX, and a resident of Atmore for the past 14 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Betty Trueblood; two brothers, Danny Trueblood and Ronnie Trueblood; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Hadley of Atmore; two daughters, Linda and John Mangrum of Nashville, TN and Betty Hearne of Houston, TX; six grandchildren; a brother, Marvin Trueblood of Channelview, TX; and two sisters, Kathy Cooper and Clarice Martin, both of Channelview, TX.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at Lottie Methodist Cemetery.

Christine Lowery, a native of Monroe County, Ala., and longtime resident of Canoe, Ala., was born February 9, 1920. She passed away on September 10, 2010, at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her husbands James Thomas Reeves and Ralph C. Lowery, a son Willie James Reeves, and 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Hazel Johnson and husband Ed of Demopolis, Ala.; three sons, Bernard Reeves and wife Rita of Magnolia Springs, Ala., Ray C. Lowery and wife Freida of Canoe, Ala., and Roy C. Lowery and wife Ann of Bratt, Fla; four grandchildren, Jody Baker of Demopolis, Ala., Debbie Fitzhugh of Demopolis, Ala., Craig Lowery of Bratt, Fla., and Amanda Brown of Saraland, Ala.; six great-grandchildren, Christiana Baker of Demopolis, Ala.; Jonathan and David Fitzhugh of Demopolis, Ala., Colton Lowery of Bratt Fla,. and Shelby and Mallory Brown of Saraland. Services will be Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bother John Stacey officiating. Interment will follow at Canoe Methodist Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Albert Clark

Albert Clark, 91, of Atmore, AL and formerly of Gulf Breeze, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Bay Minette, AL.
Mr. Clark was born in Ebro, FL on October 28, 1918. He served in the US Army during WWII. After his military service he lived in Pensacola, and moved to Gulf Breeze in 1956, where he lived on East Bay and loved to fish. In 2005 he moved to Atmore, AL.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Powell Clark.
He is survived by his son Alan B. Clark, Sr. (Debbie) of Atmore, AL; three grandchildren Kim McClain (Mark) of Huntsville, AL, Alan B. Clark, Jr. of Mobile, AL, Angelique B. Clark of Atmore, AL; five great granddaughters Shelby and Amanda McClain of Huntsville, AL, Marie and Lilee Clark of Pensacola, FL, Destiny Clark of Atmore, AL; and special to his heart Teresa Hawthorne of Pensacola, FL whom he loved like his own granddaughter; one brother Alver Clark of Leesburg, FL; many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:15pm Monday, September 13, 2010 at Barrancas National Cemetery with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating. Masonic and Military Rites will be observed.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all Masonic brothers and members of the Antique Car Unit of the Hadji Temple.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Hadji Temple, Crippled Children’s Transportation Fund, 800 W Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534.

Edna Earl Sims Lee

Mrs. Edna Earl Sims Lee, age 94, of Byrneville died Monday September 6, 2010, in a Pensacola hospital.
Mrs. Lee was a native Of Brooks. Ala., but had been a resident of Byrneville for the past 22 years and was a former resident of Century. She was a member of the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband Terry Henderson Lee, a son Ceylon Lee and a daughter, Mildred Earl Lee.
Mrs. Lee is survived by five sons, Bobby Lee, of Century, Leon Lee (Carolyn) of port St. Joe, Fla., Paul Lee, of Byrneville, Thurston Lee (Kathy) of Moss Point, Miss., Lincoln Lee (Bobbie) of Moss Point; threee daughters, Ann White (John), of Century, Linda White (Andrew) of century, and Darlene Lee, of Byrneville; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday September 8, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Shelton Kindig, Rev. Ronald Broadhead, and
Rev. Joe Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Beulah Chapel Cemetery, with Petty Funeral Home directing.
Visitation was held Tuesday, September 7, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Petty Funeral Home in Atmore.
