Angela C. Meitzler, 49 of Canoe, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Atmore on June 15, 1965, to Willie and Peggy Jo Buck Booth. She was a beautician for many years but had worked for the past 18 years as a District Manager for Family Dollar Stores.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Jo Booth.
Survivors include her husband, Bubba Meitzler of Canoe; father, Willie Booth; one son, Jason Purcell of Spanish Fort; one daughter, Kaley Powers of Atmore; and many friends.
Services will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Kyles officiating.
Interment will follow in McCullough Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until service time.

Sandra Johnson, age 68,of Atmore, passed away May 3, 2015. She was born in Birmingham to Guy Mitchell Sr.and Frances Hall Mitchell. She graduated from Auburn University where she was a charter member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. After teaching math for several years she was privileged to stay home with her two children. She devoted her life to serving the Lord with her family, community, and church. She was a member of Atmore First Presbyterian Church, the Atmore Historical Society, National Day of Prayer Organization, and she served on the board of Sav-A-Life. She loved traveling, gardening, and photography. Her family will remember her as a person who brought joy into the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Johnson Jr.; two children, Audrey (Andy) Alsobrook and Paul (Ashley) Johnson; her twin grandchildren, Anna and Andrew Alsobrook; brother, Guy (Karen) Mitchell,Jr.; and nieces, Melissa Mitchell North and Lauren Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. from the First Presbyterian Church in Atmore with Rev. Jim Thorpe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Atmore.
There will be a private graveside service for family only following the funeral service.
Monetary donations can be made to the Atmore First Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.

Tracey Angela Gray, age 40, of Atmore, passed away on April 28, 2015. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Thomas Gray; grandparents, Elmer and Ester Gray; and grandfather, Melvin Ivey.
Tracey is survived by her son, Noah Gray of Mobile; mother and step-father, Shelia (Joe) Fuller; brothers, Terry (Kellie) Gray of Evergreen and Lance Fuller of Beaumont, TX and Josh Gray of Evergreen; grandmother, Ernestine Ivey of Huntsville, AL; aunt, Debra (Ben) Floyd; and uncle, Ross (Tammy) Ivey; six nieces and three nephews.
A private family graveside service was held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Weaver Cemetery in Brewton, Alabama with Pastor Chris Pruitt officiating services.
Pallbearers were Ben Floyd, Danny Booth, Colton Kelly, and her brothers, Terry Gray, Josh Gray and Lance Fuller.

Hattie Schneider, 106, of Molino, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2015. She was born in Pollard, AL, on March 31, 1909, to Elijah and Elizabeth Gay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, five sisters, her son (the apple of her eye) Carlton Abbott, her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Abbott, and a granddaughter Faye Abbott.
Hattie is survived by two grandchildren; Bennett (Vivian) Abbott and Sandra (Larry) Enfinger; five great-grandchildren; Shannon James, Mindy Smallwood, Courtney Abbott, Ryan (Alex) Abbott, and Kevin Enfinger; six great-great grandchildren; CJ Brackins, Morgan Brackins, Jonas James, Lilly Smallwood, Lexi Smallwood, and Caleb Abbott; foustep-great-grandchildren; Sonja (Bryan) Johnson, Greg (Jennifer) Mosley, Christopher Mosley, and Michael Perry; 13 step-great-great grandchildren; one step great-great-great grandchild and many loving nieces and nephews.
Hattie was a loving person with a very contagious smile. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help everyone. Her wonderful sense of humor was a special gift that produced laughter no matter where she was. She saw many changes in her lifetime and could tell you stories about almost anything you wanted to know. A fish fry with her family was always a great treat for her. She was a true blessing and a real inspiration to everyone. She touched many hearts and will be fondly remembered by all.
Hattie was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Molino for 81 years. She was the oldest and one of the longest standing members of the church. She was also a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class at Highland. The Specialty Center of Pensacola had been her home for the last six years. She was a very special resident there and was loved deeply by everyone.
Visitation will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Molino on Wednesday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Brian Calhoun will be officiating.

Joshua Michael Gill, age 14 of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. He is known for his fun-loving personality and being a prankster.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard “Dick” Gill; paternal great-grandparents, Christ Norris and Mary Preston; maternal great-grandparents, Marion “Jack” and Louise Ard; and Uncle Richard Ard.
He is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Gill and father, Christopher Gill; paternal grandmother, Karen Gill; maternal grandparents, Frank and Cecelia Ard; many aunts, uncles, and his cousin, Jessica Merritt; and his best buddy, Keshawn Norris.
The family wishes to extend their utmost thanks to Pensacola Pediatrics-Dr. Heather Lenga; Pediatric Services of America; the doctors and nurses at Children’s Health Care of Atlanta; and Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and his teacher.
The family will receive friends at Ensley United Methodist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Reverend Gina Bryan and Reverend Jesse R. Evans, Jr. will be officiating. Ensley United Methodist Church is located at 25 E. Johnson Avenue. Interment will follow at Myrtle Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.

Charles Melvin “Charlie” Brown

Charles Melvin “Charlie” Brown, age 82, of Pensacola, left this world peacefully at Select Specialty Hospital, while surrounded by family, on April 25, 2015.
He was born on May 25, 1932, in Brownton, West Virginia, to the late James Ivan and Blonda Swick Brown. He graduated from Lumberport High School and West Virginia Business College. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and retired from Champion International Paper Company after 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Genevieve Brown Cook and brother, Robert “Bob” Brown.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Mary Lou Barker Brown; daughter, Beverly (Dale) Harwood; son, Jeffrey Alan (Crystal) Brown; grandsons, Dale Harwood and Brandon (Jacqueline) Harwood; granddaughter, Amy Brown (Gary) Lynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Faith Chapel South Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Pkwy, Pensacola. The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Joel Harvey Wade, age 75, of Bremen, GA, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. He was a retired truck and bus driver. He was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite, Knights Templar, and Eastern Star Mason.
He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Wright Wade (1985), his mother Eunice Diamond Wade (1960) of Jay, sisters Brenda Joyce Wade (1943) and Shelia Ruth Wade (1954), Tambalyn Ruth Wade (1960); brother, Carl Allen Wade (1953) and wife Patricia J. Wade (2011).
He is survived by step mother Clara Wade, his sisters Anne Morgan and Jane (Charles) Martin; children, Rusty (Tricia) Wade, Bill (Teresa) Wade, Brian (Christina) Wade, and Eric (Crystal) Wade; grandchildren, Kathleen, Jessica, Jordan, Brooke and Brendan.
Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Cora Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ruth (Judy) Griffith of Cantonment, was born March 12, 1924, and went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2015. She was 91 years old. She was a loving mother who loved her children. She loved to fish and to be with her family. She always loved going to garage sales and buying other peoples stuff to give it back to someone else. She was a thoughtful person who always put other people before herself. She attended and was a member of Pine Forest Assembly of God Church. She loved her church family and her Pastor, Brother Gene. She will always be in our hearts and prayers. We will miss you dearly.
Judy was married to Donald Manuel Griffith and had five children, Daniel Clifford Griffith (Patricia), Dennis Manuel Griffith (Virginia), Gloria Jeanetta Griffith, Glenda Wonnette Weekley (Edward) and Clifford Cleveland Griffith (Becky); 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was born in Glen Lyn, WV and is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Manuel Griffith; mother, Elizabeth Perdue; father, Robert Lee Martin; sisters, Madeline Pellizzeri and Ethel Stifford; and brother, Junior Martin.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Pine Forest Assembly of God with Bro. Gene Hudson officiating.
Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Park Cemetery.

Brunhilde Karolina “Oma” Maucher

Brunhilde Karolina “Oma” Maucher joined her Heavenly Father in the early hours of April 15, 2015. She was born in Fussen, Germany on September 20, 1920. Oma was the fifth child of 12 born to Ignatz and Viktoria Hiltensperger.
She married the love to her life, Walter H. “Opa” Maucher, who passed away on April 5, 1948. Together with their daughter they immigrated from Germany to the United States in May 1952. They made their home in Barrineau Park/Molino area for 60 years. Oma was a loving wife, caring mother and devoted grandmother. She was strong in her faith and on any sunny day could be found working in her gardens.
She leaves behind her children, Ursula (Hubert) Steeley, Dieter (Sarah) Maucher and Werner (Terri) Maucher; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her remaining siblings, Charlotte (Pius) Forg, Walter Hiltensperger and Elvira Hiltensperger.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Barrineau Park.
Burial was in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Cemetery.

Raymond Terry Woodward, Sr.

Raymond Terry Woodward, Sr, age 56, died at home on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Terry was born May 4, 1958, in Pensacola to Thomas and Voncile Woodward. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He owned Terry’s Well Service for over 30 years serving the greater Pensacola area. Terry was an avid motorcycle rider, fisherman and woodworker.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Woodward; daughter, Angela (Christopher) Clark; son, Raymond (Shanna) Terry Woodward Jr.; seven grandchildren, Keith Wade, Seth Wade, Kristian Woodward, Jamil Lee Clark, Tory Woodward, Angel Woodward and Kylie Woodward.
