William Stanley McKibbon, age 76, was born in Shelburne, Ontario, Canada on January 8, 1939. He died on September 30, 2015.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and both of his brothers.
Surviving him is his wife, Sherlyn; daughter, Shari (Kevin) Oakes and four grandsons, Nathan, Peter, Matthew and David Oakes.
Visitation will take place at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North Sunday, October 4, 2015, from 1-2 p.m. with funeral services to follow immediately at 2 p.m.
Interment will take place at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, AL.

Kenneth Wayne Caraway, 59 of Walnut Hill, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015, in Pensacola. He was flooring installer, born in Pensacola on May 16, 1956, to Kenneth K. and Mary Sessions Caraway.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth K. Caraway, and grandparents, Comer and Ida Bell Franklin Caraway.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby Taylor Caraway; his mother, Mary Paul; son, Marcus Wayne Caraway of Walnut Hill; stepson Michael (Angela) Taylor of Perdido, AL; two daughters, Shaudala (Mark) Bean of Portland, TX, and Tabatha Caraway of Atmore; sister, Pamela Jay of Atmore; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; niece and nephew Chase Jay and Ashley Jay; and great nephew, Carter Overstreet.
Services will be Saturday October 3, 2015, at 2 pm.. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wendell Hadley and Bro. Paul Enfinger officiating .Interment will follow in Pine Barren Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Wayne Walker, Chase Jay, Josh Thomas, Michael Jay, Tim Caraway, and Bill Caraway. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Thomas and Billy Franklin.
Family will receive friends, Saturday October 3, 2015, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from noon until service time at 2 p.m.

Doris Mae Brown Thompson

Mrs. Doris Mae Brown Thompson, age 92 of Flomaton, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015, at her home.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Flomaton and a lifelong member of the Flomaton community where she served as Post Master for the United States Postal Service. She was a member of Flomaton United Methodist Church and of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Cemetery with Rev. Kathy McKinley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Church Children’s Home.

Martha Sue Augustus of Century passed away on September 15, 2015. She was born on February 12, 1949, to Dewey and Mazzie Knowles Smith in Flomaton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Mazzie Smith; brother, John Smith and son, John McShea.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin L. Augustus of Century; Gerard McShea of Jay; grandchildren, Connor McShea of Jay and Dariann McShea of Pensacola; brothers, Billy (Judy) Smith of Flomaton and Donnie (Sandra) of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Wanda Lou Standeford of Flomaton and Betty Faye McCall of Flomaton and numerous friends and family.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Elouise Bryan Howell, 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, in Jay.
Mrs. Howell was a native of Poplar Dell and a resident of Century most of her life. Mrs. Howell was a member of Century Chapter OES #188 and the Flomaton First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cordell Howell; grandson, James Marvin Howell, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Dianne Howell; brother, Preston Bryan; and parents, Clarence and Mamie Bryan.
Survivors include her three sons and daughters-in-law, James “Jimmy” Howell, Edward (Myrna) Howell and Robert “Bob” (Dian) Howell, all of Jay; two brothers, W.A. (Margaret) Bryan of Century and Kenneth (Marie) Bryan of Molino; one sister-in-law, Pansy Bryan of Century; two sisters, Jeanette Hurst of Pensacola and Juanita Hubacker of Lillian; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 25, 2015, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Herring officiating.
Burial was at the McCurdy Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Terry Bryan, Dan Godwin, Kenny Bryan, Preston Bryan, Jr., Sammy Lowery and David Howell.
Honorary pallbearers were Dewey Bondurant, Jerome Upton, Jack Carden and Russell Lowery.

Donell A. Smith, 51, of Cantonment, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Joey.
Donell is survived by his mother and father, J.V. and Ethel Smith; his wife, Selena; his sons, Ryan, Riley and Ricky; three sisters, Sharon Thompson (Reggie), Karen Carper (Reggie) and Marian Shaw (John); one brother, Johnell Smith; several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece and great-nephew, all of which he knew could do “no wrong”.
Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Alan Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Cottage Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Ernestine Roley Harris, 85, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, in Atmore.
Mrs. Harris was a native of Bratt and a resident of Bay Minette, most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Harris Sr.; and two sons, George (Sonny) Harris and Joe Harris.
Survivors include her two granddaughters, Ashley (Mike) Sharp of Bay Minette and Mary Katherine Harris of Jacksonville; one grandson, Blake (Courtney) Harris of Atmore; one great-granddaughter, Hannah Boothe of Bay Minette; one brother, James (JoAnn) Roley of Atmore; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Godwin Cemetery with Mr. Michael Roley officiating.

William Woodrow Watson

William (Buddy) Woodrow Watson, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015. Buddy was born in 1921 in Hartford, Alabama and moved to Jay in the mid 1930’s. He worked for Charlie Wilkerson, Energy and Empire Gas Companies for 35 years, serving people in Florida and Alabama. He was a deacon in the First Baptist Church since 1968. He served in the military during WWII; he fought in the Philippines and was stationed in Japan.
He is preceded in death by his wife of over 59 years, Carldean Watson; parents, William J. and Florence H. Watson; and eight sisters and five brothers and a host of brothers and sisters-in- law.
He is survived by his children, Ronnie (Thelma), Randall (Lou) Watson, Barbara Watson and Debra (Melvin) Flenner; grandchildren, Eric (Christina) Watson and Ben and Lora Watson; one great-grandchild, Conner Watson; and six step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 21, 2015, at Jay First Baptist Church with Dr. George Fredericks officiating.
Burial was at Concord Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday school class.

Julius Franklin Raybon, 67 of Atmore, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at his residence. He was a truck driver. He was born in Escambia County, AL, on April 1, 1948, to the late Samuel and Agnes Dean Raybon.
Survivors include his son, Jeremy (Tammy) Raybon of Excel; one daughter, Regina L.(Ken) Stabler of Huxford; one brother, Jimmy Raybon of Thomasville; two sisters, Melbus Roberts and Bobbie Pearson both of Poarch; two grandchildren, Sydney Raybon and Mayci Stabler; and lifelong friend, Charles Steadham of Mccullough; and special niece, Rhonda Rayborn of Atmore.
Services were held Saturday, September 19, 2015, from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Walter Rolin officiating.
Interment was in Steadham Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Michael Hyatt, Kelly Bryant, Johnny Mack Steadham, Jimmy Weaver, Kevin Watson and Robbie House.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Steadham, Rusty Wilson, Luke Moore and John Johnson.

Definel Graham Holland, 98, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 20, 2015. Mrs. Holland was born in Bratt on February 14, 1917, to the late Martin and Edna Ward Graham. She loved making crafts for her children, grandchildren, and friends. She was a self-taught artist and loved to draw.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, David Holland.
Mrs. Holland is survived by her children, Edward (Maude) Holland, Michael (Sherry) Holland, and Jean (Lee) Pallitt; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Catches; and brother, Don Graham.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Brian Calhoun officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 10 a.m. prior to services.
