Jesse Graham Folmar

Jesse Graham Folmar was born February 28, 1984, in Pensacola to Chuck and Peggy Folmar. Jesse was taken unexpectedly on August 28, 2016. He married the love of his life, Katie Sullivan Folmar on March 23, 2013. Their time together was far too short, but ever so sweet. He grew up playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and his favorite passion of all, racing at the local dirt track. He will be remembered by his humor, quick wit and his love of life.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Lucille Graham and Charles and Martha Folmar.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Katie Folmar; parents, Chuck and Peggy Folmar; his brother, Phillip Folmar and his wife, Christy; his twin brother, Evan Folmar and his wife, Sumer; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Marie Sullivan; sister-in-law, Heather Mahoney and her husband, Justin; brother-in-law, Chris Sullivan and his wife, Lindsay; Ida Grosbernd (Nanny); nieces and nephews, Brianna, Tyler, Olivia, Raelyn, Lane, Mallory and Bailey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home Friday, September 2, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Billy Hodge and Reverend John Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Clear Springs Cemetery.

Bash Ard Franklin

Mrs. Bash Ard Franklin, 96, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in Pensacola.

Mrs. Franklin was a native and life long resident of McDavid. She was of the Protestant Faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jodie Franklin.

She is survived by her nephew, James D. Watford of Crestview and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Ray’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Brown officiating.

Morris L. Glenn, Sr.

August 31, 2016

Morris L. Glenn, Sr. 73 of Pensacola, FL passed away at the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence after battling cancer.

Morris was born June 12, 1943 in Charleston, SC to Othella Ann Morris and Wiley L. Glenn. Morris attended Oklahoma Military Academy and entered the Navy in 1961 at NATTC in San Diego, CA Oct. 1961, he was stationed at NATTC Memphis, TN where he attended “ADJ” “A” School. Then was sent to Pensacola from Mar. 1962 to Aug. 1965. Then he went to NATPC for “ADJ” “B” School from Sept. 1965 to Dec. 1965. Then he went to VP-19 NAS Moffett Field, CA. He was a P-3 Flight Engineer there from Jan. 1966- Feb. 1970. Then he went to NAHC Memphis, TN from Feb. 1970 to May 1970 where he attended instructor school. Then he went to NAMTD Patuxent River, MD from May 1970 to Mar. 1972 and was instructor of the Year. Then he went to VP-10 NAS Brunswick, ME from Mar. 1975 to April 1978. Then he went to NRL Patuxent River, MD from April 1978-May 1981, where he retired.

As a civilian, he worked for ALM from 1981-1987as an Engineering Team Leader. While working nights he attended college at the Emery Riddle Aeronautical University and graduated in 1988 with his BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He worked for McNeil Technologies, Inc. form 1987 – 1990. Then he went to work for American Electronic, Inc. As a Logistics Analyst form 1990-1993 then BAE, Inc. form 1993-2006, where he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Carol Smith Hollenshead whom he married Dec. 4, 1969 in Houston, TX.

His is also survived by his children, Ursula Renee Towles of California, MD, Morris Lawson (Anna) Glenn, Jr. of Leonardtown, MD and William Latham (Brandy) Glenn, Sr. of Mechanicsville, MD; grandchildren, Craig Austin Towles, Cody Ryan (Melissa) Towles, Kaylie Renee Glenn, William Latham Glenn, Jr., Jia Glenn and Morris Lawson Glenn III; a brother, Thomas Theron Glenn of Oklahoma City, OK; many nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law; and 2 yorkies, Prissy and Penny.

Morris was an avid Redskins fan and collected clocks and knives. He loved gardening, bird watching, reading and riding his Harley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Burial to follow in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, FL.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be: Lawson Glenn, Latham Glenn, Mike Fletcher, Ron Sterling, Frank Brooks and Bill Spath

James “Mike” Odom

Mr. James “Mike” Odom, 62, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Pensacola, Florida.

Mr. Odom was a native of Atmore, AL and a resident of Century, FL for most of his life. Mr. Odom was a member of the American Legion, self employed brick mason and was of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his Father, James Calvin Odom and a Brother, James Odom.

He is survived by his Mother, Lena Mae Odom of Bratt, FL; Wife, Danette Odom of Century, FL; three Daughters, Margie Odom of Century, FL, Megan Odom of Century, FL and Marissa (Greg) Apple of Germantown, OH; one Brother, Jerry Nicholas of Pascagoula, MS and one Sister, Joyce (Mike) Gunn of Bratt, FL.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Lisenby officiating.

Burial will follow at the Flomaton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Donald Edward Perry

Donald Edward Perry (69) of Pensacola, FL went to be his Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2016.

Donald was born in West Virginia but lived most of his life in Pensacola. He was a member of Clear Springs United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis & Marie Perry; brothers, Anthony Perry, Ronald Perry and sister, Carolyn Morris. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie; his three children, Kevin (Raeann) Perry of Mt. Juliet Tennessee, Donald (Jessica) Perry and Samantha (Chris) Thomas of Pensacola. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Ethan, Kaylee, Austin, Cameron, Caleb and Cooper and sister, Rebecca Hildman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Clear Springs United Methodist Church, 27889 County Rd. 112, Robertsdale, AL in the Clear Springs Community. Burial will follow at Clear Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel North Funeral Home.

Kenneth D. “Kenny” Sibbach

Kenneth D. “Kenny” Sibbach, age 52, of Pensacola, was called home August 26, 2016. He was born to the late George and Doris Sibbach, on August 23, 1964, in his hometown of Pensacola, FL. Kenny is fondly remembered as a devoted husband and family man. He was known as an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, camping, and especially boating. Kenny never knew a stranger and was a friend to many. He loved his trucking job and his truck, regardless of make or model. Kenny’s care and pride in his home, and work were shown in his relentless pursuit of order and cleanliness.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Shirley Beaumont; and brother Samuel Earl Sibbach. Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Mary Catherine “Cathy” Sibbach; daughter, Cameron (Micaela) Eirby, of Fort Lewis, WA; son, Alex (Hannah) Sibbach, of Jacksonville, FL; grandson, Connor Green; granddaughter, Camdyn Green, both of Fort Lewis, WA; siblings Edward (Wanda) Sibbach, of Phoenix, AZ, Barbara (Mildred) Baker, Tommy Sibbach, Roger Sibbach, Dorothy (the late Tom) Pemberton, and Billy Sibbach; many nieces, nephews and close friends; and his cherished canine companion “Cocoa.”

Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, from 12:00n, until the memorial service begins at 2:00pm. A private cremation is entrusted to Faith Chapel Crematory. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Kenny’s name to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America, 15 South Franklin Street New Ulm, MN 56073.

Ruth “Marie” Caro

Ruth “Marie” Caro, age 96, of Molino, was called home August 26, 2016. She was born July 25, 1920, to the late Charlie and Nora Denham, in Molino, FL. Marie was a long time member of Highland Baptist Church, and the Molino Historical Society. She was known for her love of travel and making friends all over the country.

Marie was a proud homemaker, American Red Cross and Sacred Heart Hospital volunteer.

She was predeceased by her cherished husband Albert; her brothers Bill Denham, Gail Denham, and her sister Betty Denham. Marie is survived by her daughters Annie (Lamar) Allen, of Pace, FL, and Linda (the late Albert) Rudd of Molino, FL; grandchildren Kay (Doug) Lisenbee, of Pace, FL, Keith (Wendy) Allen, of Pace, FL, Amy (Jason) Picheo, of Molino, FL, and Bryan Rudd also of Molino; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; her siblings Magariet Smith, June Weaver, Mary Ann Patrick, and Jimmie Denham; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, August 29, 2016, from 10:00am until the service begins at 11:00am, at Highland Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Highland Baptist Church Cemetery, in Molino. Rev. Brian Calhoun will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Keith Allen, Bryan Rudd, Jason Lisenbee, Douglas Lisenbee, Justin Hall and Seth Picheo.

Malcolm Corum Major Jr.

Mr. Malcolm Corum Major Jr., 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in Atmore.

Mr. Major was a native of Pensacola,  former resident of Bratt, and has resided in Atmore  most of his life.  Mr. Major was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retired from Vanity Fair with 30 years of service and worked five years with Masland Carpet. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lettie Godwin; and uncle, Talton Godwin.

He is survived by one son, Johnny Major of Phenix City, AL; one daughter, Allison Major (Corey) Hicks of Stapleton, AL; and one stepdaughter, Holly L. Ramer of Atmore, AL.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Welch officiating.

Burial will follow at the Godwin Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, August. 27, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Godwin, Jonathan Godwin, Cacey Godwin, Ed Hudson, Steven White and Gary Bailey.

Quinton Parker

Quinton Parker
November 3 1941- August 21 2016

Quinton was born in Nokomis, Alabama in 1941 to Tennie Mae and Talmadge Sterling Parker. He was his mother’s “sweetheart”, and known to his family as “Heart” and “Uncle Heart”. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Quinton started working in his early teens hitchhiking across the country harvesting tobacco, potatoes, and watermelons. In his late teens he began hanging sheetrock, continuing until the age of 54 when a construction accident cut short his working days. The accident hobbled his legs but did not extinguish his strong work ethic. He began a long and prolific hobby carving canes and staffs of wood harvested from his treasured property in Munson Florida. Second only to his cherished family was his passion for riding his Harley Davidsons. He was an avid deer hunter, aspiring fisherman, and loyal friend to many. He was a proud tribal member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. He will be forever missed.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Talmadge Sterling Parker, Tennie Mae Adams Parker, brothers William Ray Parker, Thomas Martin Parker, Lloyd Parker and survived by his brothers Claude Parker and Danny Parker, and Sisters Carloyn Annette Davis, and Bonnie Garrett and husband Jim.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Virginia Parker, his son Steve Parker and wife Paula (Robinson), his daughter Kaye and husband Nick Guiste, and six grandchildren; Hadyn Guiste, Tyler Parker, Sydney Parker, Logan Guiste, Nolan Guiste, and Addison Guiste.

Pallbearers are: Keith Parker, Marty Davis, David Cumbie, Gary Davis, Kenneth Shelby and Christopher Shelby. Honorary Pallbearers are: Bobby Freeman and Wayne Freeman.

Visitation will take place Friday, August 26, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with funeral services to follow at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Jimmy Lancaster will be officiating. Interment to follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery.

Barbara Ann Guthrie

Mrs. Barbara Ann Guthrie, age 71, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Atmore. She was a native of Ashford, WS. She has been a resident of Atmore since 1995.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Guthrie; parents, Benno and Laurine Simon and two brothers, Norman and Jerad Simon.

Mrs. Guthrie is survived by her son, Ronald J. (Stacy) Guthrie of Cibolo, TX; one daughter, Laurine (Jeff) Gentry of Atmore; four brothers, Phil (Diane) Simon of Fond du Lac, Wisc., Frank (Betsy) Simon of Mayville, WI., Tom (Sherry) Simon of Watsonville, Calif. and Bob (Debbie) Simon of Brownsville, WI.; four sisters, Pat Simon of Oshkosh, WI., Rose Simon of Zion, IL, Lucille Simon of Israel and Clare (Nusrat) Hussain of Islip, NY; two sisters-in-law, Billie Ruth Wilson of Atmore and Robin (Dan) O’Brian of Appleton, WI,; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 26, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gene King officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 26, 2016, from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Donaldson, Marshall Hadley, Jason Hadley, Nathan Riley, Christopher Hadley and Luke Hadley.
