In 2013, he founded the Southern Vintage Racing Association and was a regular face around the dirt and asphalt tracks. His love of racing will always live on in his family with his son driving #26 at the tracks. He was never one to stop and sit, but always on the go and working either doing little jobs, building race cars, or just helping others out. He always had a joking nature about him and could make others laugh often.

A special thank you to Sacred Heart Hematology staff and Dr. Yazan Alsayed for providing such great care for him, that even through this tough battle, he looked forward to seeing the entire staff, joking with them all with a smile on his face.
