James Wesley Brazier

James Wesley Brazier was born in Dallas, Texas to the late Herman Barnes and Evaline Brazier. James attended BTW High School in Dallas TX. After graduating from high school, he later relocated to Los Angeles, CA. After working on many jobs, he finally went to work for Lockheed Martin in Burbank, CA and retire in 1996. After retirement we relocated to Lake Charles, LA, Orlando, FL and moved to Cantonment, FL. He enjoyed traveling until his failing health. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He exchanged his earthly life for an eternal life.
He is preceded in death by his parents Herman Barnes and Evaline Brazier; grandparents Ollie and Lillian Brazier and Golden McGill; great grandson D’Angelo Watts.
Everyone, most notably, his dear loving family, will cherish the memories of James Brazier life.
James leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife and caregiver Mrs. Jennie Espie Brazier of Cantonment, FL; two daughters, Anita Brazier of Bakersfield, CA and Eyvette Espie of Dallas, TX. Two grandchildren, Shanell Roberts and Khalil Ealy of Bakersfield, CA; two brothers, Harold and Carl Barnes of Dallas, TX; two brother-in-law’s, Jimmie and Robert Espie; five sister-in-law’s, Linda and Patricia Barnes of Dallas, TX, Nancy Underwood, Barbara Mitchell and Mattie Carter; his oldest cousin Barbara Hurd of Los Angeles, CA and nieces, great nieces, nephews, great-nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 4th, 2017 from 5-8pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with services to follow on Saturday August 5th, 2017 at Deliverance Tabernacle and Christian Center with Bishop Charles Young officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Harold L. Gebhard

Harold L. Gebhard, loving husband and best friend to his loving wife Lelia Capps Gebhard passed away into the loving arms of his Savior on Thursday, July 27, 2017.
Harold was born and raised in Bainbridge, Lancaster County, PA to Harry L. and Esther Shellenberger Gebhard. He grew up in Bainbridge as one of six children- three boys and three girls. He was a member and attended Olive Baptist Church, Pensacola, FL.
Harold proudly served his country for 23 ½ years in the United States Air Force, followed by 33 years of service to the U.S. Postal Service. During his military career he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State. He was a Master Mason, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Hadji Shrine. Harold’s many military awards and commendations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medals (2), Commendations Medals (4), Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Vietnam service Medal, National Defense Medals (2), Presidential Unit Citation, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship, Air Force Longevity Service Awards (6) and nine Good Conduct Medals. Harold loved his country and volunteered and served in Vietnam. He had a distinguished and rewarding career serving his country in the USAF and the U. S. Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Herman T. Gebhard.
Harold is survived by his forever friend and love, his wife, Lelia of Pensacola, FL. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage together. He is also survived by his sisters, Helen Gramm, Hazel Chapin (David), Mount Joy, PA and Hilma Mumma (Clay) of Lancaster, PA; his brother, Howard (Beth) of Ephrata, PA; sister-in-law, Katherine Gebhard of Manheim, PA; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Dr. Stan Lewis will be officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

James Bledsoe

James Bledsoe, 82, of Cantonment, FL passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. He was born October 7, 1934, in Pensacola, Florida to John and Myrtle Bledsoe. Master Chief Bledsoe served 21 years in the United States Navy. He served in the Korean War and Vietnam. He enjoyed bass fishing, camping, motorcycles and old cars. He was a member of the Elks Club and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne of 59 years; grandson, Matthew Purvis; parents, John and Myrtle Bledsoe; and his brother-in- law, Jim Wanberg.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen McCulloch (Gary) and Barbara Purvis; granddaughters, Kristen Huckstep (Brannon), Jamie Haynes (Eric) and Michelle Truitt (Scott); great-grandsons, Ryan, Alijah, Nicholas, Aydan, Adrian, Connor and Phox; great-granddaughter, Zoey; sisters, Betty Wanberg and Gladys Docherty (John).
Funeral services will be Friday, July 28, 2017, at 9 a.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.
Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Myrtle Grimes, 83, of Barrineau Park, FL went home to be with our Lord July 26, 2017.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Venis Grimes.
She leaves behind five children, Elsie Grimes, Robert Grimes, Kathy Mason, Shirley Beavers and Roger Grimes of Barrineau Park, FL; one stepdaughter, Patricia Kelley of Woodbine, GA, who she loved as her own; a very close friend of many years, Larajane Yazhue; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Thank you to family and friends that helped us take care of Mama and a special thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice, Gentiva Penney and Mrs. Evelyn.
Visitation will take place Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Molino 1st Assembly from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Brother Jason Adams will serve as officiant.
Interment to follow at Oliver Pugh Cemetery.

Frank Joseph Baillie (Joe) was born December 22, 1964, in Maryland to Frederick and Lucille Baillie (departed) and the beloved husband to Darcy Baillie. Joe will forever be remembered by his loving brother, Mike Baillie and sisters, Teri Asby and Mary Godwin (Doug); beloved children, Adam Freeman (Jessica), Allison Fanning (Andrew) and Amber Freeman; four treasured grandchildren, Audrina, Kyree, Mason and Cole; and beloved nieces and nephews, Jared Pace (Danielle), Jena Pace, Katie Pace, Steven Godwin, Kristina Baillie, Raymond Baillie, Matthew Baillie, Cameron Godwin and Malia Baillie; caring in-laws, Vince and Cindy Milstead, Kenny Milstead (departed), Tara Milstead, Michael Milstead (Haleigh and
Rhett) along with countless other family members and friends who were blessed to know him.
Joe was a hardworking, loving family man who enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting and watching sports at home with family. Joe’s life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Frank Gilbert Cherry

Frank Gilbert Cherry, 73, of Cantonment, FL passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
He was born in Pensacola, FL to Phillip Rexford Cherry and Madeline A. (Dutre) Cherry on December 29, 1943. He attended Catholic schools in Pensacola and served in the U.S. Navy. He humbly accepted many awards and recognitions, nationally and locally, for his dedication to helping people. At NADEP in Pensacola, FL he began an employment program for the developmentally disabled, attended the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in Washington, D.C., moving on to be the Executive Director of the Center for Independent Living of NW Florida (now CIL Disability Resource Center) for 23 years.
In addition to his many accomplishments, he was recently appointed to the Florida Independent Living Council to which he wanted to take his ideas for furthering the welfare of people with disabilities. And for 30 years he was the caller and instructor for the Pensacola Special Steppers, a group of proud square dancers with developmental disabilities. He participated in many functions of ARC Gateway for 52 years.
He was a member of the Men of St. Joseph, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and a Special Minister of Holy Communion at St. Anne Catholic Church, Bellview, FL.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Lynn Cherry.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Nancy M. (Schuldt) Cherry; children, Janet M. Cherry, David B. Cherry and Jason P. Cherry; two brothers, Dennis A. Cherry (Sandra) of Fairfax, VA and Donald A. Aguiar (Marybelle) of Livermore, CA, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, he kindly requested memorials to ARC Gateway for Group Homes, 3932 N. 10th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504 and to St. Anne Catholic Church, 5200 Saufley Field Rd, Pensacola, FL 32526, earmarked Building Fund.
Visitation will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church Monday, July 24, 2017 beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:30 a.m. Concelebrants will be Reverend Fr. George Sammut and Reverend Fr. John Licari. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Helen Louise Rollo

Helen Louise Rollo, 85, was born January 2, 1932 in Pensacola, FL. She went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2017.
In 1947, she married the love of her life Miles Franklin “Gus” Rollo. They traveled the United States for many years with their two sons before coming back to Pensacola to settle down and raise their children. Helen was a family woman, whose love and devotion to her family showed through the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed holiday get-togethers and any chance to spend time with her loved ones. She will be missed by every one that knew her.
Helen was the beloved wife of Miles Franklin Rollo, Sr who preceded her in her death in 2002. She was the devoted mother to Miles Franklin Rollo, Jr and Thomas Dixon Rollo. Her two boys were the apple of her eye and blessed her with six grandchildren: Trey, Brendan, Chandler, Keltsey Brenizer (Rollo), Brooke Watson (Rollo) and Erienne Rollo. She was great grandmother to Kyndal, Jaxon, and Sophie Rollo, Journey Rollo, Ayden Watson and Harper Brenizer.
Helen bought Oscar’s Restaurant in the 1980’s where she, along side her husband, before his death, successfully operated it for over 30 years until retiring in September 2015.
Family and friends are welcomed to gather in honor of her life on Monday, July 24, 2017 at First Pentecostal Church located at 6500 N W St. Viewing will begin at 11:30 am with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow immediately after at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
George Lavon Caylor

Mr. George Lavon Caylor, 88, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, in Fairhope, Alabama.
Mr. Caylor was a native of Uriah, AL and had resided in Atmore, AL since 1953. Mr. Caylor was a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was retired from Champion Paper Company with 13 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member and deacon at Presley Street Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Elizabeth Caylor; parents, George W. and Myrtle G. Caylor; two brothers, Cecil and Douglas Caylor; and sister, Anna Laura Turberville.
He is survived by one son, Robert Lavon (Jolene) Caylor of Dothan, AL; two daughters, Sharon C. (Tommy) Freeman of Walland, TN and Karen C. (Cereal) Daniel of Atmore, AL; one sister, Doris Jay of Uriah, AL; four grandchildren, Christy E. (Rick) Marcum, Kevin D. (Sonya) Freeman, Ryan C. (Cindy) Daniel and Chelsea E. (Matthew) George; and five great-grandchildren, Ashlynn E. Breeder, Caylor T. Marcum, Kylee R. Freeman, Jackson D. Freeman and Hudson R. Daniel.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 21, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Serenity Garden Cemetery with Military Honors.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Christy Marcum, Rick Marcum, Kevin Freeman, Sonya Freeman, Ryan Daniel, Cindy Daniel, Chelsea George and Matthew George.

Mrs. Emmie Belle Wilson, 77, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017, in Century, Florida.
Mrs. Wilson was a native and former resident of Enterprise, AL and had resided in Century, FL for the past 30 years. She was a member of the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Comer Wilson; parents, Charles and Emma Ivey; and one sister, Kroell Hutto.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenda and Rusty Bagwell of Flomaton, AL; two sisters, Kressie Caraway of Arcadia, FL and Bonnie Thwaites of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Jessica Griffis, Bryan Griffis and Lindsey Bagwell; and six great-grandchildren, Michael Griffis, Hunter Griffis, Jaden Satterwhite, Desiray Bagwell, Chloe Satterwhite and Carlee Satterwhite.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Bryan and Sis. Lois Aboud officiating.
Burial will be at the Cooper Cemetery.

Jane Beverly Howington

Jane Beverly Howington, 81 of Century, Florida, passed from this life on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born August 23, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Lewis Henry Beverly and Esther Daniel Beverly.
Jane received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi Southern, Hattiesburg, Mississippi where she met Bob Boy, the love of her life. She went on to be a music teacher in the public-school systems of Texas in Port Lavaca, and in Florida in Bratt, Byrneville and Century Elementary Schools and Century High School.
Jane loved God and loved telling others about Him. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Flomaton, Alabama and First Baptist Church in Century, Florida, where she played the piano and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. In the community she played the piano for many events, especially weddings, keeping record of each by date with names of the bride and groom in the back of her “Wedding March” book. She also enjoyed entertaining at her home. In the late 60’s and early 70’s she hosted an annual Easter Egg Hunt in her front yard. As her daughters became teenagers she hosted the “End of the School Year Party” for their friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Beverly H. Dishman and husband Scott of Huntsville, Alabama, Judith Merritt and husband Mark of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Leslie Howington of Century, Florida; three grandsons, Tyler Williams of West Palm Beach, Florida, Tristan Williams of Century, Florida, and Andrew Merritt and wife Kimberly of Collinsville, Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Rachel Merritt of Owasso, Oklahoma, Hannah M. Underwood and husband Brock of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Marina Bartlett-Dishman of Madison, Alabama; two great-grandsons, Ryder Underwood and Grant Underwood; extended family, Cesar Gonzalez of Century, Florida, Cesar A. Gonzalez and Juliana Gonzalez of Villa Vi Cencio, Columbia, South America; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Leslie Howington; her parents, Lewis Beverly and Esther Daniel Beverly; and one sister, Carolyn Beverly Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Flomaton in Flomaton, Alabama. The family will welcome guests beginning at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at the Flomaton Cemetery in Flomaton, Alabama.
