Mrs. Betty Lou Carnley Hanks, 75, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, in Century, Florida.
Mrs. Hanks was a native and lifelong resident of Jay, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and never met a stranger. She was a member of the Ebenezer Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cozette Hanks and daughter, Angie Hanks Nelson.
She is survived by her son, Matt (Samantha) Hanks of Flomaton, AL; four brothers, Clarence (Minnie) Carnley of Pace, FL, Leon (Barbara) Carnley of Jay, FL, Melvin (Audrey) Carnley of Jay, FL and Curtis (Dianne) Carnley of Flomaton, AL; three grandchildren, Paul Thomas Black, Candace Black and Courtney Black; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 24, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Ebenezer Church with the Rev. Bobby Carnley and Rev. Danny Carnley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 6 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the Ebenezer Church.
Pallbearers will Matt Hanks, Marcus Carnley, Travis Carnley, Michael Carnley, Paul Thomas Black and Wayne Roney.

Mr. Timmy Danny White, 52, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, in Bay Minette, Alabama.
Mr. White was a native and lifelong resident of Bay Minette, Alabama. He was a member of the Full Power Holiness Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley White and his first wife, Jacquelin Michelle Boatwright White.
He is survived by his father, Malcolm V. White of Bay Minette, AL; wife, Janella White of Bay Minette, AL; two sons, T.J. (Jessica) White of Bay Minette, AL and A.J. (Emily) Gardner of Bay Minette, AL; four daughters, Becky (Shawn) Cooper of Bay Minette, AL, Samantha (Jason) Daniels of Bay Minette, AL, Tiffany (Jacob) Clabough of Paxton, FL and Sierra White of Bay Minette, AL; three brothers, Jimmy (Casey) White of Bay Minette, AL, Eugene (Jane) White of Perdido, AL and Mack (Sherry) White of Bay Minette, AL; two sisters, Jan Mosley of Bay Minette, AL and Winona (Donnie) McDonald of Bay Minette, AL; eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 17, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Full Power Holiness Church with the Rev. Joe Welch and Rev. J.P. Lambert officiating.
Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Full Power Holiness Church.
Pallbearers will be Gary McDonald, Danny White, Brent White, Michael White, B.J. Blackmon and Mickey Moore.

Mrs. Melbus Irene Rayborn Roberts, 81, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017, in Mobile, Alabama.
Mrs. Roberts was a native of Bay Minette , AL and a resident of Atmore, AL for most of her life. She retired from Vanity Fair with 20 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Erby Lee Roberts; a son, Brent E. Roberts; daughter, Marilyn F. Parker; two sisters; two brothers; and son-in-law, Lawrence Capers.
She is survived by one son, Darrell (Karen) Roberts of Ozark, MO; two daughters, Lettie Marie Capers of Gonzales, LA and Deborah (Michael) Doucet of Prairieville, LA; one brother, Jimmy Rayborn of Thomasville, AL; one sister, Bobbie Pearson of Poarch, AL; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Welch and Sis. Helen Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at the Guy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 1 p.m. until service time at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mr. Joseph Hugh Whittington, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Jay, Florida.
Mr. Whittington was a native of Paragould, AR, former resident of Pensacola, FL and has resided in Byrneville, FL since 1993. He was a member of the VFW, NRA and Mason. He was retired with the US Navy Reserve and Naval Air Station with 45 years of service. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha Lee Whittington, sister, Virginia Nell Daniel and brother, Dr. John Whittington.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Bush Whittington of Byrneville, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stickle officiating.
Burial will follow at the Byrneville Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 6 to 9 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Alfred Victor Emmanuel O’Connor, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, surrounded by loved ones. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, and loved of all things outdoors. He had a green thumb like no other. He never met a person who he couldn’t talk to. He was a simple humble man that was love by so many.
Born in Bay Minette, Alabama, On February 12, 1927. He was the 4 th born child to Ester and Vincent O’Connor. He was a War World II and Korean War Veteran, with a love of country as much as his family. He was married to the love of his life, Juanita O’Connor, for more than 50 years. They raised eight wonderful children, that grew into 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ester and Vincent O’Connor; son, Charles O’Connor; grandson, Timothy Dalton Wilson; sisters, Alfreda Nellums, Christine Steadham, and brother, Francis O’Connor. He is survived by his wife, Juanita O’Connor; his children, Evelyn (John “Buddy”) Bethea, Marilyn Stone, Teresa (William “Bill”) Davidson, Steve (Hazel) Wilson, David O’Connor, Timothy (Lisa) Wilson, Paula (Samuel) Thomley, Lisa (Bradley) Mons; brother, Harry (Ada) O’Connor; sister, Ruth Granat, his 25 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and his one great great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Nellums, Robert Nellums, Carter Granat, Scott Steadham, Gregory Steadham and Matthew Steadham.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, family at 12:30 PM, friends at 1:00 PM. Service is to start at 2:00 PM, at Faith Chapel North. Burial Services to follow at Bay Springs Full Gospel Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests monetary donations towards the funeral expenses or simply take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, or take a walk in the woods, for time waits for no one.

Richard Adam White, 38 of Perdido, AL, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in Baldwin County, AL. He was employed in construction as a painter. He was born in Pensacola, FL on May 5, 1978, to Richard D. and Virginia Inez Neal White.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Inez Neal.
Survivors include his father, Richard D. White of Perdido, AL; two daughters, Kally White of Cantonment, FL and Daelyn Lee Fine of Perdido, AL; one brother, Daniel Wayne (April) White of Bratt, FL; nieces Savannah and Addison; nephew, Brayson and a host of family and friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, March 10, 2017, in Presley Cemetery in Nokomis, AL, with Bro. Don Davis officiating.
Interment was in Presley Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Steve White, Thomas White, Jonathon White, Ashley Dupree, Kagen Dupree,and Chad White.
Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Rolin, Michael McGhee, and Taylor McGhee.

Alvis Respress, 92, of Atmore, AL passed away, Thursday, March 9, 2017, in Atmore.
He was born on September 23, 1924, to the late Daniel Alvin and Hattie Brake Respress in Darlington, FL. He was a Staff Sgt in the U.S. Army during WWII. After WWII he was employed at St.Regis Paper Company; was an engineer for L&N Railroad and was also a farmer. He was of Baptist faith and a member of Huxford Lodge and Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert, Amon, Elzie, Edmon and Fred Respress; sisters, Ruthie Wise, Orie Eason and Myrtle Velzie.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Respress; one son, Benny Alvin (Bobbie) Respress, all of Atmore, AL; grandchildren, Leslie (Ray) Sellers and Tyler (Ashley) Respress; great-grandchildren, Jackson Sellers and Myles Sellers.
Services were held Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Norris officiating.
Interment was in Serenity Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Matt Mason, Morgan Mason, John Hassebrock, Heath Fillmore, Randall Musgrove and Tommy Strawbridge.
Honorary pallbearers were Luther West, Hilbert Hall, Alfred Wolfe, James Weber, Tony James, Wayne Harrison, Romeo Coleman and Bart Rehm.

Mattie Ruth “Maw Maw” Bailey, 89, of Canoe, AL, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at her residence. She was a homemaker. She was born on February 7, 1928, in Brewton, AL to Charlie and Sallie Tarleton Booth. She was a member of Moyeville Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Canoe.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raleigh O’Neal Bailey; a son, Charles O’Neal Bailey; infant granddaughter, Megan Bailey; infant great-granddaughter, Ashley Abbott; and her seven brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by three sons, Gary (Darlene) Bailey of Canoe, AL, Douglas (Beverly) Bailey of Lenoir City, TN and Keith (Laura) Bailey of Canoe, AL; six daughters, Regina Gohagan of Robinsonville, AL; Miriam (Ray) McBride of Bratt, FL, Annette (Tommy) Young of Canoe, AL, Sharon Martin of Bratt, FL, Janet (Tom) Redden of Concord, NC, and Kim (Randy) Martin of Canoe, AL; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Friday, March 10, 2017, at Robinsonville Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Waylon Stuckey and Bro. Ricky Tedder officiating.
Active pallbearers were the Bailey boys, Gary, Doug, Keith, Raleigh, Jacob, and Little Raleigh.

Lisa Cathleen “Cathy” Rives peacefully transitioned into Eternity on Thursday March 7, 2017, at her home in Cantonment.
She was preceded in death by her husband Reginald Rives, her father James W. Kittrell, her sister Merle Kittrell and her brother James D. Kittrell.
She is survived by her mother Lorraine Kittrell Peacock, step father Fred Peacock, sisters Cindy Weaver and Debbie Holliman, daughter Crystal Jackson (Gabe), grandchildren Alyssa and Austin Jackson, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive visitors Thursday March 9, 2017. at 1 pm. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m.. Bud Burrell will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Weston Weaver, Eddie Coker, Ken Irwin, Greg Carlisle, Cody White, and Shannon Johns.

Mr. Wilbur Alfred Levins, age 78 of Century, FL, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Levins was born in Century, FL, and spent his lifetime there where he worked for Pen Rod Oil Company as a deckhand. He was a member of Byrneville United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Medlock Levins; son, David Alfred Levins; daughter, Sherry Louise Pittman, and mother, Hazel Bolen.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Allen Levins of Jay, FL and Steven (Edie) Levins of Coosada, AL; daughter, Sonja Levins (Richard) Pittman of Prattville, AL; brother, Joseph Wayne (Brenda) Levins of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Mixon, Colton Pittman and Dustin Dunn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel from 2 PM until a 3 PM service time with Rev. Lavon Caraway and Rev. Tim Presley officiating.
