Mr. Emuel Gerald Morgan, age 71, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018, in Mobile, Alabama.
Mr. Morgan was a native of Walnut Hill, Florida and had resided in Perdido, AL for the past 14 years. He was a member of the VFW and employed with Dowdle Gas Company.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Diane Morgan of Perdido, AL; two sons, Daniel Ray (Kim) Morgan of Bay Minette, AL and Kristofor (Leslie Jarman) Laird of Atmore, AL; two daughters, Tonya Lynn Morgan of Sacramento, CA and Melisa (J.R.) Godwin of Atmore, AL; two brothers, Billy (Elaine) Morgan of Robinsonville, AL and Ronnie Reggie (Linda Gail) Morgan of McDavid, FL; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, March 12, 2018, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Willis Letcher Gibson

Willis Letcher Gibson, age 83, of Molino, was called home Thursday, March 8, 2018. He was born March 7, 1935, in Pensacola, FL to the late James and Doshia Gibson. Willis was known as a family man that enjoyed the simple things in life. He retired as a truck driver from ECUA after many years of faithful service.
Willis was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wanda Gibson Owens and several siblings.
He is survived by his sons, Jonnie Gibson, Sr., Glen Gibson and Kenneth Gibson; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several siblings; and a host of extended family and friends.
Services were held graveside on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Whitmire Cemetery with Rev. Bill Flannigan as officiate.
Pallbearers were Will Cawthon, Jonnie Gibson, Jr., Clayton Miller, Jordan Miller, Brian Freeman and CJ Walker.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Joe Evans O’Barr, Jr.

Mr. Joe Evans O’Barr, Jr., age 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home in Poarch, Alabama.
Mr. O’Barr was a native of Little Rock, AR, former resident of Mobile, AL and has resided in Poarch, AL for the past 29 years. He was a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians; past Vestry Member of St. Anna’s, was on the PCI Gaming Board and was a member of the St Anna’s Episcopal Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe, Sr. and Bessie O’Barr, one bro, Michael Anthony O’Barr and one sister, Beverly O’Barr.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ellen O’Barr of Poarch, AL; three sons, Charles Anthony (Sylina) O’Barr of Perdido, AL, Jonathan Evans (Stacie) O’Barr of Poarch, AL and Andrew (Elizabeth) Daughtry of Atmore, AL; three daughters, Christy O’Barr (Ronnie) Huskey of Atmore, AL, Shannon (Jason) Griffey of Poarch, AL and Kimberly O’Barr (Nick) Hill of Poarch, AL; two sisters, Brenda (Ricky) Faircloth of Poarch, AL and Teresa “Shada” (Jamie) Thomas of Poarch, AL; nineteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Father Michael Hill officiating.
Burial will follow at the Judson Creek Indian Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018 from 6 to 9 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Faircloth, Jerry Faircloth, Scott Griffey, Mikey Griffey, Jake Thomas, Kendall Reed, Chris Lee and Chad Parker.
Honorary Pallbearer will be A.D. Owens, Bobby McGhee, Mike Parker, Joe Lowe, David Morris, Aubrey Smith and David Kirby.
Beatrice Cook

Beatrice Cook, 84, of Walnut Hill, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 4, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Beatrice was born July 5, 1933 in Brewton Al. as one of 10 children to the late Gussie and Martha Catherine Fuqua. She enjoyed reminiscing about her time growing up in Brewton and attending W.S. Neal as well as her time spent at Mount Berry School in Georgia. She wrote her memoirs about those times in a book that her family will cherish. She met her husband Cecil E. Cook and they spent 50 years together. She held different occupations over her lifetime but her most cherished job was being a mother to her five sons. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Atmore Al.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Cook, her siblings, and one grandson Allan Cook.
She is survived by son David Cook of Navarre FL; son Tony Cook of Auburn AL.; son Tim Cook (Vicki) of Bratt FL., son Richard Cook (Rebecca) of Oak Grove and son Robin Cook of Garcon Point FL.
Beatrice had 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who were also her pride and joy.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday March 10, 2018, with Norman Newberry officiating. Visitation will begin prior to services at 10:00 AM. Pallbearers will be her sons, grandsons and family friend Doyle King.
Interment will be at Green Acres Cemetery, McCall AL.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to any children’s charitable organization of your choice.
Marjorie Marsa Leah Wellman Belanger

Marjorie Marsa Leah Wellman Belanger, age 84, of Brewton, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born on March 10, 1933 in Houston, Texas, the baby of nine children born to Benjamin Harrison and Myrtle Valentine Wellman. Shortly after her birth they returned to Florida where she grew up in Lake Worth and West Palm Beach.
She married Bryan J. Belanger in 1950 and they were married 66 years until Bryan’s death in 2016 at the age of 84. They had two children, Vickie and Bryan, Jr. whom they loved dearly. Her favorite pastimes were being a mother and homemaker, caring for her family, reading her Bible, teaching Sunday School, raising her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchild to love the Lord, and sharing Jesus with others. As her love for the Lord grew she carried a small red New Testament Bible (King James Version) in her purse for many years so that she could accurately tell and share with others The Word of God. Marjorie was a kind person who truly followed God’s Commandment to Love Others.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bryan; her son, Bryan, Jr.; and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sister, Ada Wellman Baker of West Palm Beach, Florida; her daughter, Vickie Lynn Belanger (David) West of Berrydale, Florida; two grandsons, David (Cecilla) West, ll of Remlap, Alabama and William Joseph West of Brewton, Alabama; four great-grandchildren, Dawson (Brandii) West, Jessica West, Danay West; two great-great grandchildren; a beloved sister-in- law, Jean Belanger (Davis) Woody; brother-in- law, John Belanger and many dear nieces and nephews and a special friend, Ashley Dykes, her faithful and loving Care Giver. We appreciate more than words can express the sacrifices made by her precious family the many times Ashley would stay overtime with us to help with Margie’s unexpected needs. And last, but not least, our family would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice. Each nurse and staff member exhibited love and compassion daily for our Mother and Grandmother during her last months. Donald Martin Anderson

Donald Martin Anderson was born on July 9, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI to Gudmund Martin and Mary Estelle (Graves) Anderson. Don grew up in Sioux Falls, SD where he graduated from Washington High School in 1963. He attended Northern State College in Aberdeen, SD where he met his wife. Don and Sandi were married on June 5, 1968. In 1969, Don was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the United States Air Force Officer’s Training School at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. He was stationed in Biloxi, MS when his daughter Angie was born. He was trained as an Air Traffic Controller. During his tenure he was also stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, Rapid City, SD, Thule Air Base, Greenland and also Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, WA when his son Brian was born. By the end of his 6 year military service, Don was a Captain. Don loved playing golf, racket ball and tennis. He had his aviation pilot’s license. But his favorite pastime was boating and fishing for walleye on the Missouri River. He loved playing cards, games and putting puzzles together with his family and friends. Don retired from Wells Fargo after 23 years as a Compliance Officer. Don and Sandi moved to Pensacola, FL in 2001. Don’s faith in the Lord was strengthened during his battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home March 4, 2018 with his loving family surrounding him.
Don was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Sandi of 49 years, his daughter Angie (Phil) Grantland, son Brian (Lara) Anderson, sister Debbie (Dave) Keleher, and his eight grandchildren; Brittany Prince, Jordan Prince, Taylor (Chris) Howton, and Allie, Kahlert, Bethany, BriLea andEli Anderson.

Mr. Anthony “Larry” Corrone, age 86, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018, in Century, FL.
Mr. Corrone was a native of West Haven, CT, former resident of Bethany, CT, and has resided in Century, FL, for the past 6 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U.S. Army. VFW Life Member of Connecticut, where he served as Judge Advocate and was the owner operator of Amity Excavating.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Susan Joan Corrone of Century, FL and one son, Lawrence John (Lesley) Corrone of Bethany, CT.

Mrs. Delores Rolin Schultz, 64, went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 2, 2018.
Mrs. Schultz was a native and lifelong resident of Poarch, AL. She was a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians and attended the New Testament Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Schultz; parents, George and Mary Rolin; and two brothers, Frank Rolin and Glenn Rolin.
She is survived by her brother, Billie Rolin of Poarch, AL; one sister, Lenna Rackard of Atmore, AL; one niece, Anita Glass of Atmore, AL; five nephews, Glenn Rolin of Baytown, TX, Jerry Rolin of Atmore, AL, Kevin Rackard of Atmore, AL, Rodney Rackard of Atmore, AL and Tommy Rolin of Atmore, AL; and a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. William “Bubba” Rolin officiating.
Burial will follow at the New Home Cemetery.

Margaret M. Hurst, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 2, 2018. Margaret was a loving mother and wife whose passion in life was taking care of her husband and children and being with her grandchildren as much as possible. She loved to cook, especially her chicken and dumplings. She loved her Disney movies, Mexican and Italian food, and TV.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony, Joe, and Frank Jr.; and sisters, Betty, Dorothy, and Fern.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald Hurst; children, Carmen Hurst and Judy Harris (Jim); grandchildren, Bryan, Corey and Erin Harris; great-grandchild, Amber Harris; sisters, Beatrice Guillen (Manuel), Mary L. Cobb (Delano); brother, Salvador Savala; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Doug Hurst, Jim Harris, Bryan Harris, Corey Harris, Glenn Duck, and Don Wright.
Memorial donations may be made to either VITAS Healthcare or the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North in Cantonment, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
A viewing will be held at Beulah Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Paul Brooks will officiate.

Lee Roy Burns, 73 of Jay, formally of Marianna, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Baptist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Lee was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and friends and had a very kind and loving heart. He came to know Jesus and devoted his life to Christ. He served as a long haul truck driver for many years achieving over 3 million miles accident free and was an avid Florida Gator fan. He enjoyed playing the guitar, watching sports, especially football and girls’ softball, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Ola Glisson Burns; his adopted son, Robert Earl Raines; and brothers, Junior Green and Paul Raines.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Burns; son, Lee Roy (Amanda) Burns, Jr.; daughter, Michelle Sapp; step-daughters, Cory (Jon) Brown, Connie (Patrick) Shores, Angela (James) Cordell; step-son, Andrew (Kendra) Blackerby; brothers, Will Raines and Noah (Judy) Burns; sister, Estell (Carey) Cox; grandchildren, Garrett, Dylan, Hannah, Haley, Savannah, Emily, Layton, Ariahna, Martina, Alexander, Preston, Sophia, Hunter, Olivia, and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Jay Chapel, 3853 Highway 4, Jay, Florida with Dr. Fredricks offciating.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service.
