Mr. Donald Ray Helton, age 79, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Pensacola, Florida.
Mr. Helton was a native of Huxford, AL, former resident of the Atmore area and has resided in Cantonment, FL since 1965. He was a Elder in the Remnant Church of Latter-Day Saints, a 1962 graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelors Degree in Finance, a 7th grade Science Teacher at Ransom Middle School. His passions were Alabama Football and Fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Patsy Helton of Cantonment, FL; a son Michael and husband Eric O’Briant of Kennesaw, GA; one brother, Gary Helton (Companion Lola Alverson) of Atmore, AL; one sister, Glenda & Alan Rundall of Lillian, AL; niece, Sheron Rundall of Lillian, AL and aunt, Ruth Vickery of Atmore, AL.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Evangelist Les Kelly and Evangelist Dick Dour officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 12 Noon until service time at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Lamar Wiggins, Rick Wiggins, Curtis Wiggins, Alan Odom, Rick Brooks and Glen Helton.
Mable W. Eicher

Mable W. Eicher, 82 of Atmore, AL, passed away July 30, 2018, in Bay Minette, AL. She was born in Bratt, FL, to the late Walter and Lillie Mae Faircloth West on December 7, 1935. She worked at B.C. Moore’s in Atmore for many years and later retired. She was a member of New Home United Pentecostal Church. Her parents, one infant son, and her son Michael Gohagan precede her in death.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Rita) Hall of Poarch, AL; daughter, Belinda Kay (Joe) Wooten of Bratt, FL; and one sister, Walter Mae Paul of Bay Minette, AL; special nephew, Eddie “Peanut” Priest; five grandchildren, Chad, Brad, Shane, Dustin and Breanna; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, at 10 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Breceda and Bro. Rowdy Boyte officiating.
Burial will follow in Bratt-Godwin Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Brad Wooten, Dustin Hall, Cade Wooten, Daylon Wooten, Kelton Wooten and Trey McGhee.
Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Lane Wooten, Heath Fillmore, Ardis Rolin, Russell Braswell, Shannon Priest, Jerry Hawkins, and Jerry Mason.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 6 -8 p.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Bobby Lee O’Dell

Bobby Lee O’Dell, 81, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at home.
He was born December 27, 1936, in Richmond, MO to Roy O’Dell and Izetta Seek. He was a retired Letter Carrier from U.S. Postal. He enjoyed spending time with family and was am avid clock collector.
He married Myrtice McNally on November 7, 1958.
Also surviving are two daughters, Vicki (Jim) Kelnohofer, Lisa Brisson; three sons, Danny (Edna) O’Dell, David (Marion) O’Dell, and Mike (Miki) O’Dell; three grandsons, Robert, Andrew, and Corey; four grand-daughters, Rachel, Rebekah, Amy, and Sarah; 10 great grand-kids, Kaleigh, Britton, Mattie, Kristopher, Kaleb, Dana, Kadence, Brooke, Briar, and Stevie Rae.
Services were held Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Mike Davis and Pastor James McNally officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox (Parkinsons) foundation.
Ireland Lee Brock

Ireland Lee Brock was born on June 30, 1942, the third child of Robbie and Bennie Brock in Pensacola, Florida. Being the youngest child, we have been told that he was harassed by his older brothers and thus adapted strong survival skills at an early age. He graduated from Pensacola Technical High School, attended Pensacola Junior College (now Pensacola State College). He transferred to Florida State University and graduated in 1966. He later earned his Masters of Education from The University of West Florida in August 1973.
Ireland had a strong work ethic having worked all through his school years from Pensacola News Journal, Dixie Grading and Paving, Y.M.C.A., Equipment Manager at the F.S.U. Athletic Dept., and Chemstrand. Upon graduation from F.S.U., he was employed by the Escambia County School Board and assigned to Tate High School for one year to coach under his mentor, Ralph Chaudran. Then back to Tate High School as Dean, then Assistant Principal. Other assignments include Principal at Ferry Pass Junior High, Escambia High School, Woodham High School, and retiring as Director of Student Services at the J.E. Hall Center.
He married Joyce Rains Brock on his birthday in 1961 and they celebrated their 57th anniversary this year. They have one daughter, Kelly Sallee Doheny and son-in-law, David Doheny, Jr.
Ireland loved sports and enjoyed watching and sometimes coaching his two grandchildren, Dustin Lee Clements and Bailey Michelle Clements; and great-grandchildren, Justin Washburn, Raylee Joyce Harper, Jayden Clements, and Chandler Clements. In addition, he has a brother, Charles Julia Brock and wife, Peggy Brock; sister-in-law, Gloria Brock Farris, sister-in-law, Linda Rains; brother-in-law, Ned Elzo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Lingo Brock, Sr.; mother, Robbie Head Cooper; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Rains; step-father, Henry Cooper; brother, Bennie Lingo Brock, Jr.; brother-in-law, Kenneth Rains; sisters-in-law, Jean Walker and Helen Elzo; and niece, Cindi Beck.
Ireland was a private person but he loved God, family and helping others. And Will Rogers!
A memorial service will be at Faith Chapel North on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. with the service starting at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that you consider donating school supplies for needy children.
Fred Andrew Mullins

Fred Andrew Mullins, 63, of Milton, FL, passed away on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 in Pensacola, FL.
Fred Mullins was born and raised in Pensacola, FL to Curtis & Willadean Mullins. He graduated from Tate High School in 1973 in Cantonment, FL where he lettered in football. He then attended and graduated from the University of West Florida. Fred retired as a Deputy US Marshal belonging to SOG (special operations group) after 32 years of service. Fred enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with his four children, often at the beach in Perdido Key, or cheering for the Florida Gators, rooting against UT Vols and FSU.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis A. Mullins; his brother Gary C. Mullins; and grandparents, Fred and Ida Mullins and
Walter and Nora Ann Smith.
Surviving are his daughter, Katie Mullins; sons, Ryan, Jacob and Shane Mullins; mother, Willadean Mullins; sisters, Teresa Wynn and Lisa Barretto; sister-in-law Karen Mullins; grandchildren Caitlyn, Ryland, Jayden, Colton, and Josie Mullins; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at National Cremation and Burial Society (5641 US-90, Milton, FL 32583).
Daniel Sherman Fuller, Jr.

Daniel Sherman Fuller, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2018. He was born August 13, 1923, to Lily Kelly Fuller and Daniel Sherman Fuller in Bluff Springs, FL. He left home at 14 to serve in the Civilian Conservation Corps and from there joined the Navy in 1941 where he served in World War II as a gunner’s mate. He married Betty Jo Dunsford in 1954 and they reared 7 children. He spent most of his life working for CSX Railroad and retired in 1991. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his sister, Mae, and brothers, Grover, Ralph, John and Richard.
He is survived by his children Cindy Ford, Becky (Tony) Fore, Danny (Lisa) Fuller, Lisa (Mark) Trinkle, Allison (Richie) Carter, Paul (Donna) Fuller, Marc (Kelli) Fuller; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation for friends will begin Thursday, July 26 at 6 p.m. at Faith Chapel North in Cantonment, Florida. Funeral service will be Friday, July 27, at 10 a.m. at Faith Chapel North. Graveside service will follow immediately at Crary Cemetary, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Bluff Springs, FL.

J. Boyd Sigafoose, Sr., 78 of Bratt, FL. passed away Sunday July 22, 2018, in Pensacola, FL. He was a dairy farmer, born on January 27, 1940, to the late Arnold Bert and Ruth Johnson Sigafoose. He was a member of the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Joe Sigafoose, brother Shelby Sigafoose, granddaughter Shelby Sigafoose and great-grandchild Heidi Eck.
Survivors are his wife Judith Eck Sigafoose of Bratt, FL; three sons, J. Boyd, (Beverly) Sigafoose, Jr., of Ottawa, KS, James Sigafoose and Carter Sigafoose, both of Bratt, FL; five daughters Carol (Dale) enger of Lobelville, TN, Emily (Robert) Peaster of Idaho, Miranda Parker of St.Petersburg, FL, Alana (Destiney) Sigafoose and Haven Shores of Bratt, FL; and two sisters, Brooxene and (Maynard) Koehn and Latayne (Harold ) Eck of Davisville, AL.
Services will be Wednesday July 25, 2018, at 10 a.m. from the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church, with Bro. Mike Koehn, Bro. Brian Decker and Bro. Wilbert Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers are Eric Koehn, Tom Sigafoose, Silas Eck, Josh Peaster, Chuck Glick, Galen Harms, Curtis Davison and Darryl Ensz. Honorary pallbearers are Luke Koehn, James Sigafoose, Leonard Purvis and Sam Telford.

Lucie Lee Clark Paden

Lucie Lee Clark Paden was born March 27, 1935 to Hugh and Edna Clark. She passed from this sphere to her Heavenly Home on July 21, 2018 at the age of 83.
As a resident of Pensacola, Lucie was a member of Olive Baptist Church, where she served as a church secretary, choir member, and second grade Sunday school teacher for over twenty years.
She was preceded in her journey by her beloved husband, Paul.
Lucie leaves behind her sister, Marcia Barnard; her children, Chris (Stacey) Paden, Craig Paden, Derek (Julie) Paden, and Sheri (Jeff) St. Michael; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Jared, Hannah, Rebekah, Daniel, Christopher, Kaitlyn, and Richie; three great grandchildren, Parker, Alaina, and Marlinda; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
As family and friends mourn her passing, so we too should celebrate her reunion with her Savior.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Jerry Passmore officiating. Burial will follow in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at funeral home.
William Herbert “Bill” Hendrix

William Herbert “Bill” Hendrix, Sr., 91, of Atmore, AL, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018, in Atmore. He was born in Goodway, AL, on December 17, 1926, to the late Herbert Henry and Zelma English Hendrix.
He was a graduate of Marion Military Institute and served in the United States Army. He was a longtime member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Atmore. He was active in many of Atmore’s civic organizations and youth athletic programs for many years. He was one of the founders of Escambia Academy in Canoe, AL. He served on the board of directors of First National Bank & Trust, serving many years as chairman. He also served as a trustee of Judson College in Marion, AL. He owned and operated Hendrix Tractor Company, Inc.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Zelma Hendrix; and two brothers, Jack Hendrix and Harold Hendrix.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dorothy “Dot” Hendrix of Atmore, AL, his son Bert (Sandra) Hendrix of Mobile, AL, his daughter Sheri (Jack) Darby of Atmore, AL, and his son Robert (Melanie) Hendrix of Atmore, AL; Grandchildren Elisabeth (Heath) Ward, Hayley (Zac) Palm, Will Hendrix, Jana Hendrix and Deeya (Silas) Seamans. Great grandchildren Hendrix Ward, Mary-Grace Ward, Anna Kate Palm, Lee Palm, Darby Locke, and Dillon Seamans.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 4 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Atmore with Dr. Larry Patterson and Bert Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Will Hendrix, Heath Ward, Zac Palm, Jack Hendrix, George Watkins, Thomas Guy, Michael Williamson, and Steve Jernigan.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Atmore.

Jimmy Ashby

Jimmy Ashby resident of Molino, Florida passed away on July 17, 2018 at the age of 81. .
He was born on January 7, 1937 in High Point, North Carolina to the late Raymond Ashby and Susie Chamberlain Ashby. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force and Civil Service with the U. S. Navy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Abigail Ashby (2017); his son, James Martin Ashby; and his parents.
Jimmy is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Ashby and Matthew (Doanie) Ashby; grandson, Jeffrey Ashby; granddaughter, Nicole Ashby Jordan; great grandsons, Trenton Jordan and Keaton Davis; great granddaughters, Hayleigh Macks and Hannah Macks; and brother Jack (Ann) Ashby.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Ashby Cemetery, Molino, Florida.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Ashby, Matthew Ashby, Terry Macks, Jeffrey Ashby, Jr., and Joseph Davis.
