VFW Community-Wide Picnic
The Atmore VFW Post 7016 is inviting everyone to their annual Labor Day Picnic on Monday, September 6 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Hotdog plates, $3; 5×7 photos $5. Information booth to learn more about the VFW. 206 West Ashley Street in Atmore.
Alzheimer’s Support Group
Alzheimer’s Family Services hold a monthly support groups for family members or friends coping with a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease at 10:00 a.m. on September 8 at Century United Methodist Church, located at 530 Church Street. Family Pancake Dinner
Family pancake dinner, Wednesday, September 8 from 5:30 until 7 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Molino. Pancakes, bacon/sausage, fruit and drinks. Cost is by donation to support the Youth/Children’s ministries.
Old Fashion Day
The Womens Ministries at Bratt Assembly of God will hold a Yard, Bake and Craft Sale on Saturday, September 11 from 7 a.m. until at the church, located at 5150 West Highway 4. Pre-order baked goods for the holidays, handcrafted quilts and holiday crafts by calling (251) 368-8304.
AWANA — First Baptist Bratt
The AWANA program will begin Sunday, September 12, 5-7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Bratt.
Movie Night
There will be a Movie Night on Saturday, September 11 at 5 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Molino. Movie, popcorn, drinks. Free.
Old Fashion Day
Old Fashion Day will be Sunday, September 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Forest Assembly of God, 3125 N. Pine Forest Road in Cantonment. Everyone welcome for great time of fun and fellowship. Dress in your best old fashion clothes from poodle skirts to farmer’s overalls. There will also be a blood drive.
NWE Officer Elections

Tate Class of 1980 Reunion
The Tate High School Class of 1980 will hold their 30-year reunion September 17-18. The group will attend the Tate home game on September 17 and have dinner at the Hilton on Pensacola Beach on September 18. Tickets are $75 each.
