Inez Jinright

Inez Jinright, 84, of Cantonment, FL passed away Monday, February 24, 2020. She was born in Monticello, MS on August 17, 1935.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Jinright, and parents Marvin and Lizzie Lee Farmer.
She is survived by her four children, Gregory (Debbie), Jeffrey, Steve (Danielle) and Teresa (Roger); grandchildren, Haleigh Sullivan, Jacob Jinright, Machaela Russell, Emily Williams and Miranda Sevcik; great-grandchildren, Cayden Jinright, Ryleigh Williams, Bailey Williams, Jace Williams, Kennedy Sevcik, Jackson Sevcik, and Mckinley Sevcik; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Inez was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. Her early married years were spent making a home for Hayward and their children. Together they made sure Gregory, Jeffery, Steve, and Teresa had a foundation of faith and made church a priority. They wanted their children to be happy, healthy, and loved.
After Hayward’s death, Inez continued being actively involved in her children’s lives. As much as she loved being a mother, becoming a grandmother was one of her biggest joys in life. When she wasn’t busy spoiling her grandchildren, you could find her somewhere enjoying a cup of good coffee and conversation with friends or family.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, February 29, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Cantonment with Dr. Will Stone, Rev. Larry Huff, and Rev. Micah Gandy officiating.
Interment was at Bayview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Roger Commander, Tyler Jackson, Kenny Phillips, Curtis Wiggins, Lamar Wiggins, and Phillip White.

Dr. John Willard Neff

Dr. John Willard Neff, 90 of Atmore, AL, passed away February 18, 2020, at his residence. He was born on June 8, 1929, in State College, PA to the late Joseph and Viola Hoy Neff. He was a Clinical Psychologist had an undergraduate at Penn
State University, Master’s degree at Florida State University and a PhD at Ohio State University.
He is preceded in death by his four brothers, Joseph L. Neff, George Harris Neff, James Irvin Neff, William Russell Neff and one sister, Anna Viola Neff.
He is survived by his two sons, Eric (Linda) Neff and David (Christy) Neff; six grandchildren, Angie, Kory, Kristi, Natalie, Danielle, Lisa (Matt) and five great-grandchildren Annabelle, Peyton, Isabel, Angelena, Khloe.
A private memorial service was held at his home.

Christina (Chrissy) Marie Atkins, 37 of Atmore, AL, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020, in Atmore. She was a homemaker. She was born in Monroe, Washington on March 11, 1982, to Dennis John Fecteau and Brenda Taylor.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis John Fecteau.
She is survived by her parents Brenda (Timothy) Brock of Atmore, AL; two daughters, Keyonna Atkins and Kasiyah Atkins; two brothers, Dennis “D.J” Fecteau and Kristopher Fecteau; one sister, Cheyenne Brock and many family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Long officiating.

Wonda Faye Raines Conant, age 68 of Jay, Florida former resident of Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoors and flowers. She retired from the casinos in Tunica, Mississippi as a supervisor.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Wanda Raines and former husband, Bob Conant.
She is survived by daughters, Tracy (Brian) James and Angela Conant, sister, Cheryl (Jeff) Woods; brother, James (Faye) Raines; grandchildren, Dustin, Crystal, Samantha, Amber Ly, Hanna, and Evan and great-grandchildren, Beckham and Jana.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Jay City Cemetery with Brother James Raines officiating.

Barbara Faye Wyatt, 85 of Pensacola, Florida passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020. Barbara will be remembered as a loving caring mother and granny who was always there for her family. She enjoyed fishing and reading. She was a great
cook.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Baker and Mary Cherry; son, Ronnie Wyatt; daughters, Brenda Furr, Linda Brettel and Judy Lea Carter and her half-brother, Terry Baker.
She is survived by her children, Ralph Wyatt, Patricia Tackett and Chester “Chuck” Wyatt, Sr.; grandchildren, Kelly Anne Wyatt, Chip Hooks and Chester “Chuck” Wyatt, Jr. and numerous other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Wyatt and Nevaeh and still others; one half sister, Linda Traywick.
Funeral services were held March 4, 2020, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
Interment was in Jordan Cemetery.

Laura Marie Rivers Allison, 55, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020, after a brief battle with cancer. Laura is a graduate of Tate High School, class of 1983.
Laura and her larger than life personality were born in Pensacola, Florida on Friday, March 13, 1964, to Francis Lenwood Rivers and Rose Marie (Rivers) Rose. Laura loved and embraced being a Friday the 13th baby, therefore it only seems fitting to send her home on her day. Laura loved bowling, horseback riding, horse shows, crafting, time with family and helping others. She had a love for people; she never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Shayne Earl Allison Sr.; father, Francis Lenwood Rivers; grandparents, Roselie Diamond, Earnest and Laura Bray; Earnest and Mattie Rivers.
Laura is survived by her fiancé, Tim Ellis; children, Shayne Allison Jr., Elizabeth Asbury (Sean), Shannon Allison and Sean Allison; grandchildren, Brody Allison, Riley Allison, Kobe Allison, Desiree Asbury, Danica Asbury, Hannah Asbury, Isaac Gomez, Jaylen Brackin, Anastasia Allison; mother, Rose Marie Rose; step-mother; Gail Rivers; brother, Michael Rivers (Cathleen); sister, Nikki Johnson (Robert); brother, Eddie Rivers (Chari); sister, Missy Bryant (Jimmy); nieces, Erin Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Rachel Rivers, Allison Gillespie (Alex), and Melanie (Mike) Burnett, Carol Rivers and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 13, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Jimmy Blackmon officiating.

Rev. George W. McClure, 87, of Cantonment, FL, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020.
Rev. McClure was born July 2, 1932, to the late Willie and Linne McClure of McKenzie, AL. He was a Methodist minister for 60 years to churches in our area and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. He was a former member of American Association of Wood Turners.
Rev. McClure is preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter, Virginia Lynn.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 66 years, Gloria McClure; three sons, George McClure, Allen McClure (Renee), James McClure (Beth); grandchildren, Amanda, Trey, Amelia, Jacob, Jonathan, Jaydon, Lydia, Samantha, Joshua, Jessica; great grandchildren, C.J. and Haddy.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.
Interment was at Eastern Gate Cemetery.

Mrs. Dorothy Pearl Flowers, age 86 of Jay, Florida, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020, in Pensacola, Florida.
Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. She loved to sew and make quilts for all of her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. and Leslie Jordan; husband, Ervin Flowers Jr.; sons, Eddie Flowers and David Flowers; grandson, Jamie; brothers, James Jordan, Billy Ray Jordan, Tommy Jordan, Robert Jordan and Curtis Jordan; and sister, Corena Davis.
She is survived by sons, Larry Flowers, Kenny (Tina) Flowers, Edward Flowers, Alton (Emmie) Flowers and Calvin (Jennifer) Flowers; daughters, Susie (Tommy) Griffin and Diane (Ray) Belanger; sisters, Lillian Harris and Mrytis Nims; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Trevor Flowers, Jackson Flowers, Tracy Flowers, Larry Dewayne Flowers, Stephen Flowers and Jess Belanger.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Cora Baptist Church in Jay Florida with brother Ladon Hall officiating.
Burial was at the church cemetery.
Don Theodore Chunn

Mr. Don Theodore Chunn, age 80, passed away on Monday February 24, 2020, in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
Mr. Chunn was a native of Uriah, AL, former resident of Huxford, AL (where he spent most of his life) and has resided in Vestavia Hills, AL for the past nine years. He was a retired farmer, member of ALFA, Farm Bureau, where he was past president, the Escambia County Farm Agency and the Bethel United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Lemuel and Ethel Dee Chunn and brother, James Chunn.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie Ann Chunn of Vestavia Hills, AL; two sons, Tony Ray Chunn of Medford, OR and David (Cooper) Chunn of Pinson, AL; one daughter, Donna (Geoff) Brenneman of Medford, OR; three sisters, Luverene (James) Smith of Jackson, AL, Wilma Johnson of Bainbridge, AL and Ruth Mothershed of Huxford, AL; three grandchildren, Andrea Topham (Matthew) Frazier, Darin Topham and Dylan Topham; and three great-grandchildren, Alayna, Avelyn and Austin.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Diane Everett officiating.
Burial was at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Smith, Kevin Smith, Timothy Smith, Dylan Topham, Gary Johnson and Paul Johnson.

Peggy A. Moye, 84 of Atmore, AL, passed away February 27, 2020, in Century, FL. She was born on November 19, 1935, in Escambia County, AL to the late Edgar and Jesse Maude Keller Coker. She was a member of Presley Street Baptist
Church and was a retired chemical operator from Monsanto.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elbert Coker, Evelyn Thurman, William Coker and Bobbie Stallworth.
She is survived by her husband, John C. “J.C” Moye of Atmore, AL; her children, Debra Thrower of Atmore, AL, Richard (Pam) Moye of Bay Minette, AL, Tony (Kim) Lambert of Satsuma, AL, Rondel (Karen) Moye of Sharon, S.C, Robert
(Janice) Moye of Bratt, FL and Regina (James) Hare of Walnut Hill, FL; two brothers, George Coker and James (Susie) Coker; two sisters, Faye (Mike) Morris and Millie Purvis; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph Simpson officiating.
Interment was in Moyeville Cemetery.
