Toyz For Kidz Bike Ride Provides For Needy Kids (With Photo Gallery)

December 13, 2015

Santa had some very special helpers Saturday as the LA Bikers rolled through Bratt, Flomaton and Atmore making sure that about 60 needy kids had presents for Christmas this year.

It was the 15th annual Toyz For Kidz Ride organized by the LA Bikers.

Dozens of children received new bicycles and helmets, clothes, shoes and lots of toys. About 150 bikers took part in the event with stops at Bratt Elementary, the Arrington Auto Parts in FlomatonĀ  and Atmore City Hall.

Thank you to PeeWee and Ann Powell for starting this event over 15 years ago and for all of the bikers and each individual person that helps to make this possible. Thanks also, to the different fire departments and police departments for their help in the event. Many smiles are seen in these pictures.
