I can only imagine how these folks would react if a governor without an "R" by their name had stolen $10M intended for the children of this state for their spouse's slush fund. I disagree. He has used this $10 mil that wasn’t his money to push his political agenda. To harass innocent voters. That doesn’t make him a good governor. That makes him and his staff common thieves and bullies. And this new homestead exemption amendment everyone is going to vote for will drain the budgets of the county funded services, such as police, dmv, tag, elections, etc. It makes DeSantis a hero in the eyes of the voters, until after he is out of office and the reality of reduced services and reduced funds for roads becomes apparent and the Counties start looking for creative funding alternatives. Because people are going to flock to Florida even faster. And DeSantis has done nothing about the skyrocketing costs to insure houses which are helping to price some families out of homes.
