Look at the lights that have been installed along highway 29. Accidents are still happening. The only way you're going to fix a problem is thru enforcement and education. A traffic light won't stop a person running a sign because they will still run the light.A traffic light doesn't stop drunk drivers. A traffic light doesn't stop speeders. So I say no to a light. (All intersections for that matter) Have seen several vehicles over the years try to speed across all four lanes without stopping at the stop signs. Many years ago came through right after a fatality where two at least were ejected and killed on the spot. One in the median. And one on the shoulder of the north bound side. Was sad to see. And as @JJ said. A light will NOT make a difference. Only better drivers will. Always head on a swivel at this intersection. Light did not help,28 y.o. saidhe took hiseyes off the rod and was looking down. How long was he looking donw in not seeing a red light.
