What is keeping our law enforcement from clearing the streets at this time of night? This should not be a problem. Stop being afraid to do what is right and good for everyone.

This is entirely unacceptable. The perps need to be hunted down with the full force of the law, and they should feel its wrath with zero clemency. A person(s) who will fire weapons into a crowd of innocents is not worthy of living free in a civil society.

Next: create and enforce- emphasis on enforce- curfews for the <18 years of age crowd. Kids that age have absolutely zero business being outside of home in the wee hours of the night.

This is common sense. Let Pensacola be known as a town that doesn't tolerate this kind of nonsense.

To Mike: Tommy Smith was obviously talking about the middle school age kids that terrorized the area before the shooting. Mothers will say they are not able to control their teens and fathers are not in the picture

Is time to stop looking to blame everyone and realized that times have changed whether we like it or not. The reality is that there were 6 people in trouble( mentally physically) and there are today some parents in pain for the los of their child. As human beings we need to be sympathetic and hoping or praying depending of your Christian beliefs that all these issues among the youth in our community and beutiful Pensacola stops.

When I moved here 36 years ago it was because Pensacola was so much like Detroit when I was growing up. Well, Pensacola is still following in Detroit’s footsteps. Parents can stop this.

Is there no curfew for those under 18? There was a time that anyone under 18, could not he out after midnight Friday and Saturday, unless traveling to and from work and the rest of the week was 10pm, with the same stipulation.

Fine the parents for the delinquent actions of their kids at that time of night and maybe that will decrease this rype of criminal activity.

To Tommy Smith: Up to what age the parents should be accountable? Up to a 50 years old of a child? To me 19, or up to 26 are old enough to be responsible for their actions.
