Our Agricultural Land in middle and northern part of the county is disappearing and being goebbled up by developers for large subdivisions…the Jack’s Branch property rezoning from Agricultural to Agricultural Residential [ 1 dwelling / 4 acres ] isn’t the problem…it’s the fact that a large per cent of it is wetlands that should never be built on and clear cutting of trees as well as the loss of animals’ habitats will change “our little piece of paradise into a parking lot!”

While Escambia County and the state look at proposed growth maps, one new elementary school is on Kingsfield, new subdivisions now extend around Cantonment as far as Molino, and Quintette Road and Hwy 95a have become a heavy traffic throughfare to Pace. At least the old dirt road from Kingsfield to the land field was paved in this time.
