I’m not sure what all the fuss is about as far as the lane closures which are a short span of road (at least on the south side). I travel this intersection twice a day, mornings and late afternoon/early evening during the heavier traffic times and have had very minimal delay and no issues with the one lane. It would be nice if they would work 7 days a week on all the road projects but they don’t. They are making things better at this intersection and that takes time. A little patience goes a long way.

Why aren’t they working on this seven days a week. No one was working on Saturday and I’m sure there is no work being done Sunday.

I’m thinking positive that people will slow the heck down and respect the workers and other vehicles. If you don’t like it, go around. People can’t just complain about it. They’re trying to make it more efficient for us.

I’ll never understand how shutting down a major intersection doesn’t require 24/7 around the clock work. No workers there when I’m headed to work at 545 and none there by 530-6 in the evenings. Whoever awarded this contract and approved the schedule needs to have their jobs looked into also. No sense of urgency whatsoever!!

Whoever approved the traffic plan should be fired. There is no reason with better planning they couldn’t have had 3 lanes one for turning vehicles.
