I mean isn't it kind of asking for problems when you put a bike lane almost in the middle of a busy highway? Not to mention most of these bicycle accidents happen at night and most of them is because of low light or because the bicyclist is not wearing high vis clothing when the law sees them wearing all black in the middle of the night riding down the road they should issue some sort of citation. Some of these accidents could be avoided by just wearing high vis clothing.
