By law petroleum is sold on the open market. This, more demand for American petroleum China or Greece or wherever means higher prices for all. They aren’t oil barons, they are corporations with a legal responsibility to give as good a return on investment to shareholders as they can. Wars along supply lines make folks nervous and bids more and more to get what they need untill we go electric. Even though our glorious leader claims he won the war he started, those he attacked just keep on fighting.
