Looked up the Florida statutory sentencing guidelines.

Hold on to your hat.

4 years to 15 years in prison. Up to 15 years probation and up to a $10k fine. Loss of license.

To me, that seems awfully soft for the loss of a life from this type of crime.

Why did it take so long to send him to prison and it should have been murder and no less than 65 years in prison
