So, I also agree with Just Saying. But, if a VA Hospital is really needed there is a hospital just sitting on Hwy 98 in Pensacola. Why not just fix it up and open it as a VA Hospital? We have plenty of medical care available in the area. Vets should be able to use a vet card like an insurance card. No need for another inefficient VA entity that just provides jobs and little care for vets. I have to go to Mobile to get dentures made and it takes months because VA sends me there rather than just send me to a local dentist. I agree with Just sayin. A Veteran should be able to show his/her ID card and be saw by any Doctor, Hospital or any other type facility and the cost covered. The cost of the building, equipment and keeping a hospital running could be spent on better care for the Veterans. We don’t need a VA hospital, VA Hospitals should not be needed anywhere.
