Uncle Leo was a wonderful person who will be missed by more people than he will ever know. He was a true gentleman, polite and friendly with old school manners, who treated people with respect. Even more, he loved and valued his family and his extended families and always expressed that to us. He was a man of good character and principles who lived those out in many ways. He lovingly cared for the Amerson family cemetery plot “Top” all through the years and could often be found working there. I am grateful that I had a great Uncle Leo who represented parts
of the family I never got to meet. He kept the family history alive for many of us and I enjoyed asking him questions about the past and loved ones when I could. Thank you for your warmth, wit, wisdom and big happy grin. I’ll see you in the shade of the evening.

I'm so sorry - Leo was one of the finest men I had the pleasure to know and be a small part of his family - loved going to Family Reunions 'cause you'd always see Leo helping unload cars with all the food and ready for his kiss and hug! Truly a wonderful man, I will miss him.
