People are at the same time overwhelmed by just trying to live day to day, and living in an era of 'Convenience Store' access to get whatever one wants on a basic level. Today's generations are motivated by instant gratification and religious/political ideologies they have no 'need' to honor the past. Here in the States, IMHO, we have way too many holidays and special remembrances and celebrations that even Christmas is losing its specialness. So hopefully Century can try a bi-annual event, give the planning and notification more leeway and time to have a successful event. It’s everywhere, every State, every Nation.
