I feel she is qualified if not over qualified for that position. Not yo mention her advance classes she’s taken . I think it’s a bad move not to put her in this position. What I know is Christal Bell-Rivera is a more central choice, and one that I also agree with. Of the three candidates discussed, I know only one personally, which is Bradley Vinson. She’s a very fine person, however my experience from working with her through the book committee with the Pensacola Public Schools, is she’s also extremely partisan towards allowing in CRT bias. Considering how polarizing the subject, we’re much better off in the County to have a more objective approach to our Libraries. This is exactly where this discussion needs to be addressed, as now we must agree that anything leaning towards wokeism is creating a divisive issue where again it doesn’t serve the purpose of being a public service. It doesn’t take a village, where families are concerned. It takes values that reflect the individual over the collective. I’m in full support of Wes Moreno and his judgement on this. Let’s not all get alarmed, where the alarm should be directed in the other direction. It’s a philosophical difference in people.
