Don't you remember just a short year ago you had one employee running the whole system he was begging for help. Then your leaders fired him and contracted out the maintenance. Of course, the bill is going to go up significantly to right all the damage done by the if not corrupt, then certainly inept council you had. Also, how many years was it that you got free natural gas because the bills were not being sent out and the residents said nothing? Instead of keeping on handing this broken town grant after grant for them to throw away, revoke their charter and let the few services that they still attempt to provide go to agencies that can provide them efficiently. The poor people of Century cannot afford to pay these increases, or afford to leave. They are stuck with this boondoggle year after year.
