You are incorrect in the Information in which you posted. Federal inmates do get “gain time” for “good behavior “ and it is the exact same as the state of Florida in that they serve 85% of their time. It is not day for day for Federal Inmates. This goes for Federal Inmates no matter what state they are serving time in they will serve 85% of their sentences with their “gain time/ good behavior “.
There was talk at one point about making one of the federal prisons an all sex offenders prison and housing them all together in one location. Again not sure if that happened or not but it was being discussed at one time a few years back.

Thankfully he’ll be in prison for the rest of his life. Escambia County Fire Rescue should have done a better job vetting their firefighters. It’s embarrassing he was allowed to be a firefighter.

@DLo, When you serve time in federal prison it is day for day there is no such thing as good behavior or gain time. 85 % is for county or state time only. j/s. But it doesn’t matter anyways usually people who commit those kinds of crimes dont last very long in there anyways so his lifetime might be considerably shorter.

On average, with good conduct, in federal prison, an inmate does 85% of the sentenced time. If he behaves himself and doesn’t get into trouble, Mr. Buscaino can look forward to breathing free air again at the ripe old age of 111. This is how you the state should handle these cases. It’s not how I, or any of the fathers of the abused, would handle it, but he will die in prison and that is a good thing. I hope, behind bars, he finds swift, and persistent karma for the types of crimes he’s committed.
