Maynard’s is a STAPLE of Pensacola. Every year my family comes down and look forward to getting donuts from Maynard’s. Building another chain coffee shop, literally across the street from Starbucks, makes zero sense. For those saying there “aren’t enough coffee spots” will you please open your eyes next time you’re driving. What’s the point of another. Also maybe pick a new spot instead of focusing on that area. How about putting one in the Myrtle Grove Area or Blue Angel area. There aren’t any in that area . So why put another so close. Why not put one out where more people in the community could reach it and not have to drive across the entire city to get coffee. There are going be 3 on that same road and it seems very very redundant to have another built when the other that is almost done is only a 10 min walk from each other. Where this is going to be is also where one of my favorite donut shops is located and to have that be torn down will be a sign of what Pensacola is turning into. This is ridiculous.
