I was in Pensacola yesterday and I had the green light but I heard sirens on an ambulance. I waited until I knew which direction he was coming from before I moved. He was on Mobile Hwy going towards the fair grounds. People kept coming thru the light and did not stop for them. The person behind me was blowing their horn for me to go. Nope I waited.

Just glad no one else was injured because of his poor judgement… That road and Sorrento Rd. are two of the more dangerous due to poor judgement and distractions. Some folks see a gap ahead and think it needs to be filled…. putting others in danger because of speeds

I have driven Quintette Road many, many times, with absolutely no difficulty. However there are some who travel it that apparently have a secret death wish. The road is definitely not the problem if it is driven at the posted speed while paying attention to their handling of their vehicle.

They just need to make Quintette Rd “no passing” from one end to the other, lower the speed limit to 45mph, and between FHP, ECSD, and SRCSD, have someone patrolling it most of the day. People no longer seem to be able to drive with any common sense.

Speed kills and so does cell phones. Praying for everyone who was in this tragedy. I was in a bad accident when someone going to fast rear ended us on 9 mile rd. going to fast. We had slowed down due to a stalled car and HE did not. The rest is History. thanks
