You can’t give someone the death penalty for conviction of a crime they committed as a minor, regardless of whether or not they are tried as an adult. US Supreme Court, 2005, Roper vs Simmons in a 5-4 decision.

@mnon….I stand right next to you on your comments! This was a cold pre meditated MURDER of a young lady who hurt their little feelings over her opinion of one/both. I know some will say “their brains haven’t fully matured” or they are “two young to be tried as adults or given the death penalty”…I SAY BC? They knew EXACTLY what they were doing and their brains were mature enough to try and cover up this crime…and evidence…by setting this young lady ablaze. Now, I will pray for them being as that’s just the way I’m wired. My biggest prayers are for this young lady’s family as they try and make sense of this all and in the days/months/years going forward. I just cant make this make any sense AT ALL as to kids doing this.
