Take the drivers’ license at the traffic stop and keep it til court date/ fine payment- that’s what Louisiana did when I lived there many moons ago. Not having a license to show at the next traffic stop is a fairly effective deterrent to Uber-high speed driving.

Over 100mph, should get at least 30 days in county jail. DUIs should serve 10 days before release on bond with a hold on drivers license till trial. Courts too damn soft

The problem is. When if they go to court. The judge will slap them on the hand, and they’ll be out on the streets again. I wish NorthEscambia.com would do a follow up story on it.

These people, without a doubt, have absolutely no regard for other’s lives including their own. Pass a state law that those classed as “super speeders” should have their driving privileges revoked for five years. Then if they are caught driving without their licence add some jail time.
