An 83 year old shouldn’t be allowed to commercially operate a rickshaw much less a logging truck. If you are 83 you can drive your little car, and we will all try to avoid being hit by you due to your diminishing eyesight; and we will languish behind you doing 20 in a 45, but driving commercially should not be allowed. That’s way too many driving hours, and way too much mass poundage for an octogenarian.

I have to say it there has been more log truck incident this past year than last year. These drivers need to slow down and obey the traffic laws. Quinette Rd has speed limits from 35 to 55 mph. I have been passed by log trucks on this road while driving the speed limit. I understand that log trucks are vital to our economy and are needed. That said my life matters as much as yours doe. Just because you get paid by the load doesn’t mean you can ignore the laws. All our families depend on our income to survive.
