While not located in the city limits, I am hoping that Escambia County would be willing to invest in photo enforced cameras on Brent Ln. and Beverly Pkwy. in the future!

As someone who attends Pensacola Christian Academy, I commute to the school each day and come across many traffic violations…

Hopefully this comments starts a small movement, if any.

Of that, $83 goes to the Florida Department of Revenue, where $10 is deposited into the Department of Health Emergency Medical Services Trust Fund, and $3 is deposited into the Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund. $75 goes to the City of Pensacola, which a portion of those funds are used to pay for the camera system.

Passing through these intersections several times a day I’ve made many angry as I stop at yellow lights now. Watching others continue on I just smile as the light turns red and often as many as two cars race through the light. Thank goodness I do not have the pressure to be somewhere that these obviously important people have. It may be considered by them as simply the cost of doing business. Opinions?

Just wondering how much the ticket cost the registered owner of the vehicle. Bet there are some surprised owners receiving a ticket by mail and thinking, “I haven’t been through that intersection in months”. That’s when the household questioning starts. Better be careful who drives your car. I would imagine many of these cars and trucks are rentals or company owned like USPS or FedEx.

Glad these areas have cameras. Now, when can we expect them at every light? The driving in Pensacola has gotten ridiculous. If the cops are too busy busting the criminals, then cameras can bust the horrible drivers. Seriously, it is dangerous to drive here.
