Yes it should have been 1st degree premeditated murder. But because of lawyers making deals getting the offenders to admit what they done with the promise of a lesser sentence this is what happens.Because of different circumstances and reasons.And our judicial system ( the joke it is ) allows it. We are not in the America of olden days unfortunately.

These individuals followed this man from Molino to Pace (no small distance) because he had cash they wanted, and shot him 10 times, … and this guy was only convicted of 2nd degree murder, not first degree? And the other two got nothing? That is absolutely ridiculous.

Just being near someone else doesn’t mean you know they intend to commit a crime or what that crime might be
What he did was terrible but we don’t know if the others intended to kill.. We can have our suspicions but only one man is currently being permitted to kill people on his own whims or suspicions.

Everyone in that car should get the death penalty. Mentally unfit is correct: no sane person would do something like this. How stupid can you get? Did they honestly think after they blew the dude away nothing would happen to them?? Absolutely unhinged behavior.
