Sadly, accidents will happen any time of day, no matter where it is. The amount of police present or the number of lanes won’t stop crashes from occurring. The main problem imo is the amount of traffic. It needs to be made a four lane road. It doesn’t need more police officers. I see police on this road as often as I do anywhere else. Also, I’m pretty sure that area is a passing zone just before you get to the dollar store headed towards Molino. This happened after dark in the early evening, not in the rush hours of the day. There has been to many people killed! Every time I drive this road ( which I try not too) someone is either passing me on a curve or coming into my lane and I’m having to get over in the grass! My son drives this every morning and people are on his butt when he is going 55 or 60 and passing when they shouldn’t! Escambia County sheriffs department needs to get out there and be out there everyday! Something has to be done on this road!! There has been to many people killed!
