It will still be 40 miles away, but better than the 2 hour drive to Mobile. I know traffic is already heavy on nine mile especially right now with traffic being diverted from the congested i-10 with the multiple exit construction projects causing major backups. But that's nothing compared to coming out of Sams between 3 and 4 on any weekday. You have Sams traffic, airport traffic, High school traffic, pedestrian traffic from kids getting out of school phew what a nightmare. The traffic on nine mile will improve somewhat once the interstate opens back up but Sams traffic will never get any better without another good club store in our area to alleviate some of that for them. The school is not closing the airport is not closing and I'm sure Sams isn't either. This is the only thing that will help congestion in that area. Plus, it means I never have to drive over there again that's big not just for me but everyone near nine mile and the rest of North Escambia. I for one am so glad we are getting a Costco so close.
