My Mom and I (ages 70 and 87) travel that road on the way to Windcreek once a week. It just takes people paying attention and driving safely.

I agree that the yellow flashing lights should go back to red or green. I think it’s confusing to some people. The signs above them don’t make sense.

This intrrsection has been one of the most dangerous. I have never understood why people don’t or can’t drive more careful. As sujested above by another poster, maybe for those turning left across oncoming traffic, have a green turn left signal. With automobiles in the turning lanes blocking the oncoming traffic, it would be safer to have the oncoming traffic stop for those turning left. Of course nothing will be done to make it safer because everyones in a hurry to get nowhere important and sadly DOT doesn’t want to slow those down in the name of Safety.

This intersection is so dangerous. When turning you can’t see what’s coming if there are vehicles in the turn lane on the north bound side. Prayers to all involved.
