Since Tedder Road’s primary traffic volume consists of vehicles visiting a state owned facility, maybe the County Commission should insist that the state should take over maintenance as SR 95-B.

Why should Escambia County taxpayers alone pay for road maintenance to a state prison?

We own the land on the north side of the Tedder rd. The county is infact at fault, this road has been this way since we purchased large parcel in 2018.

Its like driving in Jackson Ms right here at my own house. The condition of the road is unacceptable and inexcusable.

Not to mention all the staff at the prison (and the visitors) fly like bats out of hell and they throw out trash, that I have to pick up weekly. Totally unacceptable conduct from “State of FL” employees. I expect the visitors to ACT THIS WAY NOT THE STAFF.

Tedder Road between 29 and the prison is absolutely horrific. Not an excuse by any means, but people often drive in the other lane to avoid possibly damage to their vehicle from the road condition. But you need to move back over when you are meeting another vehicle.

Tedder rd West bound is terrible and most drivers think they can leave home 10 minutes late and get to work 5 minutes early I’m not saying speed had anything to do with the accident but it is going to happen again and the outcome could be a lot worse Elsie Davis and Tedder rd intersection with a hill and curve just above the intersection I almost got hit by drivers across the center line more than one time where someone speeding east bound came over the line.

Tedder road is poorly maintained and the county ought to be ashamed. That prison is one of the (if not the) largest employers in that area, lots of traffic up & down that road consistently. It needed to be repaved YEARS ago.

Agreed wit the potholes. However, if ppl would pay attention to other drivers on the hwy, this would fix this issue, with or without potholes!

Well maybe if the county fixed Tedder rd west bound people would be able to maintain their lane and not have to swerve all over to avoid the potholes and crappy patches
