THe value of the scrap can be more IF properly prepared. The wire could have been stripped to the bare metal and it nearly doubles the sale value. I recently went there to sell some old wire I pulled out of my shed that rats had messed up. The recycle place told me if I strip it (NOT THAT EASY TO DO) it would double the value. He told me as it sat with plastic on it it would be 124 bucks. As its graded as a lower amount per pound. I took it home and stripped it in about a hour and came back for right at 300 as it was clean grade 1. Copper prices are CRAZY high. To answer one question.
