She should have been charged with murder and be in prison for the rest of her life. The killer should be on death row. FL, to my understanding, has a five year mandatory wait period for appeals before an execution, in open and shut cases such as this. One Year is plenty of time to file appeals. I also think firing squads are the most humane and least expensive way to carry out an execution. Seriously, think about it. FYI, I own no weapons, 65 y/o, retired, and a Navy Vet. What kind of animal would do this ? He will be out in 15 years guaranteed. That is soft on crime. He maliciously took a life in front of GOD and everyone. He will take his timeout . It will raise his status to do time for murder.. What has has happened that this is everyday news. We are so desensitized to this kind of horror.
