I don’t believe they ever removed the tanks from the old service station that was located across from Companion Animal clinic in Cantonment formerly Reynolds Hardware. Couldn't remember the Jones name. So many changes since I left for the Air Force in 1968. I live south of Omaha Ne now but consider Cottage Hill home. We did most of our business with Smitty's. It’s ridiculous. Trying to get across from Morris through the light is crazy. No one uses turn signals and the yield people going 150mph almost slam into you when you go straight across. Not to mention, there are ZERO restaurants (I know the Mexican places I’m talking about variety) or shops for the growing area. So, a used car place makes sense. (Eye roll) Who is planning all this stuff? Clearly, not someone with a degree in Regional and Urban Development and Planning. Now, I understand kids that live a mile from the school are required to walk home. Elementary age kids are crossing that intersection on foot now. Trying to make sense out of nonsense.
