This whole story is weird. How did the younger guy even get involved in this mess and where did he come from? Did he ride with the Atmore folks to visit or was he staying at the Lewis residence. 3 guys and 2 women in a fight …. One deputy to sort it out

The problem is that the local Judges would rather punish law abiding citizens and victims, than actually affect change on the street. Kinsey and Pitre punish the victim and reward the abuser/ crime committee. Until Judges lose absolute immunity this is not going to change.

It’s past time for our Judicial Circuit, to send a clear message to convicted felons caught with firearms. There should be a mandatory sentence of 15 years, with no early parole, if caught with a firearm.

Are there any felons living in Escambia County who don’t have a gun? Seems like every article includes the line, “charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon”.
