@RD these charges were Federal, not state. If Florida charges him after that, you can bet he’ll get 1st Degree

They are probably waiting to see how the Federal charges pan out. There is no doubt the State of Florida would charge him if there wasn’t federal charges. Also it doesn’t cost the state of Florida anything right now to let the Fed’s put him in federal prison and if some prez in future pardons him like the last prez.did with alot of bad people that don’t deserve it( auto pen). Then the state of FL can charge him then and put him in state prison after state courts are done with him.That my 2cent

First degree murder in Florida is defined as “the unlawful killing of a human being, either by premeditated design and intention, or when it occurs during the commission of certain felonies”. I wonder why that didn’t apply here. Seems like he qualifies.
