I retain ALL of my bills for years in order to campare rate increases. FPL energy and fuel charges are a great deal higher than the former Gulf Power bills. The temperatures within August of 2024 were nearly identical to August of 2025 (as I keep extensive records of this also) and yet, my bills continue to rise. We are being trained to keep our AC thermostat higher in the summer and use less electricity IMHO. My latest FPL bill was $49.00 higher than August of 2024. In Alabama all we get is a paltry .04 per kWh so it's not worth it here. Armando Pimentel, CEO of FPL makes over $10 million in compensation of which $1million is in salary. It’s all for the stockholders too. Where is the stability in this? FPL at it again.
