There should be a cap on the amount of increase on an existing NON-AD Valorem. Excerpt from 2024 Florida statue 191.009 paragraph 2(a). Hope Desantis gets no more real state taxes so everybody’s piggy bank stops , and needs for the county are disbursed by Tallahassee from sales taxes (Consumption) under regulated needs and budgeting . I hope our two reps and senator support Desantis initiative regarding this matter , in turned it could improve services and cost for their constituents, and make our civil service folks more productive and efficient . So would love to go to your delegation but I have a previous engagement to go to the Escambia County Tax Collectors office at 5:02pm in Pensacola for their public hearing. What a coincidence!
