@Larry I think DEP gave up on Pensacola. People are building in a huge amount of the wetlands. Breaks my heart. There will be nothing “natural” here someday except sinkholes.

I was employed by Mocar Oil Company during the 1980’s. My company owned this property. We tried repeatedly to build a Beacon convenient store on this property.
We were denied permits due to some sensitive wet lands on the property.. This makes me wonder what happened to the wet lands?

And remember that UWF is building a football stadium and a new dorm that will add even more traffic to UP/9 Mile Rd.

And the only current possibility to alleviate the increase is extending Greenbrier all the way to campus. Ashton Brosnaham complex with the additional fields, astro turf at NEP, football stadium. It’s happening.

That extension will happen.

Cook Out moving in, Chick Fil A moving, add tons of fill to a couple of acres and another drive thru business to make traffic and flooding worse. Come on Escambia County! Quality of life is as important as new sources of tax revenue.

Take a deep breath and slow down overbuilding the infrastructure. Good grief.
